Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Glad that's over with πŸ˜ƒ

Cloudy and a bit hazy this morning with a temperature of 28 degrees as I
walked around town this morning. No sign of the sun.

Started out walking to the post office to mail off a birthday card
and dropped it down the slot.
Then it was a walk around both cemeteries, the ball park,
and up and down the streets in town.

Saw all the school buses around town so school must be back in person again.

This was the first morning I heard all the birds back and chirping.
Spring is certainly on its way.

More geese down at the farm pond by the bulls.

Walked 6 miles

Got a few things done around the house this morning, but
kept thinking about being at the dentist and was glad when
it was 1:45 and we could leave to go to the dentist and get it over with.
All went well and I was in and out in less than 1/2 hour.
Then it was Ken's turn and it went well for him too.
Sure glad that is over with for another 6 months and nice to know
that a little problem was fixed before it become a major one.

On the way home we stopped at the Dollar General and picked up
a Digiorno's pizza for supper.

More knitting for me this afternoon - I seem to be on quite the
knitting kick!!

Thought you might like to see a picture of that big snow pile
out front - it still has a way to go.
I gave a guess that it would be gone by April 4 - looks like it might
be gone before then.

That's going to be it for today.
Thanks for visiting.
A happy day to you.

Very efficient dentist! I'm glad that if one needed a fix that both of you needed a fix. ☺️ I've got a snowpile a lot like yours only bigger. Goodness knows when it will be melted.

I'm always glad when the dentist is over with. The piles always hang around longer. Enjoy your knitting kick!

My youngest daughter and I have been back and forth to the dentist because we both let a small problem turn into a bigger one. Yuck!
I think that next week is supposed to be much warmer so I think that your snow pile will be gone. : ) My back yard is a mud pit from the melting snow.

Nice walk!! : )

We have been hearing peepers, and a sweet little tree frog came inside the house by riding on the door. Hopefully your snow pile will soon be only a wet spot.

Always good to get apts. over with...It is just always a relief for us.

Our snow seems to all be gone, but we did not get as much as you. It was the most we have had in several years, though.

The dentist is always a good thing to have over with. I had an appointment for a check up today and was glad and relieved when it was over. That snow pile is melting pretty quickly. Do you think you will get any more snow, or do you think you are finished with snow for the year?

It's still cold, as the snow is melting.

God bless.

Interesting to see the last of the Snow about and it looks as though those Geese at the pond are standing on frozen ice. We're in Autumn now - bit warm through the day and very cool at night- some rain is forecast for the weekend. All the best. KEV.

Thought you were going to say, glad the snow is over. I would be more glad a dentist appointment was over. :) We havd had a few days of sun and no rain and I am so thankful. Hope you get sunshine too.

I enlarged the picture of the pond with the geese. It is just gorgeous. If it were mine, I would frame it. Your morning walks are an inspiration.

That's amazing how fast the snow is melting. That was a huge pile of snow too.

My favorite drives are always when I'm driving home from a dental or doctor appointment! All the snow piles around here are almost gone too, We've been having many sunny days! Lets hope not much accumulates in March!

When the snow started to seriously melt my grandfather would shovel his big snow piles into the driveway and around the yard so they melt faster. His house was the first one in his neighborhood to be snow free! Have a great weekend.

Your big heap of snow is definitely shrinking. It won't be long before it's gone.

I am glad too that the snow pile is getting smaller.
Still some snow in the two pictures you showed.
Hope Spring won't be too far away for you.
