I wore my very warm jacket walking this morning.
Temperature was 14 degrees, windy, with a mix of sun and clouds,
and some snow flurries thrown in there for good measure.
Had a nice walk up and down the main street in town.
Went around the lower cemetery.
Stayed away from the one on the hill because of the wind.
Walked the street behind our old house in town
and over to the industrial park as well and the street that runs
between the main one and the industrial park
where I took this picture.
Probably can't tell from the picture but all the birds in the tree
are Robins and the first ones I've seen this year.
Lastly I walked around the ball park and then headed back to the
Jeep and drove home again.
Didn't expect to see anyone else out walking in the cold and I was right.
Guess I'm the only crazy person. π
Walked 6 miles

Well I finally got my house cleaning done today.
Sometimes I do a little each day and then other times I do it all
in one day like today.
Changed a few things around in the living room area too.
Ken went to the dump to take our trash and David went along with
him while I stayed home to clean.
So nice having David live close by.
My knitting kick continues so with cleaning out of the way I was back to knitting.
Our waterfall is now frozen.
Stayed cold and windy today but was nice to see the sun.
Looking out the window it looked a lot warmer that it was!!
That's all I have for today.
A happy day to you.
Thanks for stopping by.

It must be so nice having David and Liz close by.
Happy Weekend to you.
All the best Jan
...we had a gorgeous day day with a blue skies like yours, but it was so windy that you could blow out of your shoes!Take care and stay warm.
The first robins are always extra special. I like the frozen waterfall.
That sure sounds like a cold walk. The wind bothers me more than anything. But I know you love being outside! It's fun to knit! Can't wait to see what all you make! Enjoy your evening...ice cream tonight? Hugs!
So nice to see robins in the trees even with freezing temperatures. So glad David can help you guys out from time to time. I love the frozen waterfall. Have a good weekend! See you again soon.
It seems as if those Robins came back a bit early. They'll have a hard time finding any worms and bugs in March!!
Hello,
I like your frozen waterfall. Our Robins are here year round, they do not migrate.
It is great that you have your son living nearby. Take care, enjoy your weekend!
You truly are hardy walking in the cold. Pretty photo of the robin-filled tree. (Most all here have not been seen for a couple of weeks...you don't suppose some you have are from Texas?)
Love the frozen falls!
I didn't realise robins flock together.
God bless.
We have had robins for a SHORT bit, here, but the thing is I see one here and there all winter long. But they leave my yard/this immediate area well before winter. I don't know why.
Love your frozen waterfall...
Ahhhh, you have robins. I must start looking for them here. -smile-
Now you can come over and clean my house, please. -giggggles-
Don't know who David is, but I'm glad he is near.

Robins are nice to see. Great shot of your frozen waterfall. Enjoy your day!
It's so cold!! The birds have been around here all winter but I noticed recently that some sound different. Maybe they too are counting down the days to nicer weather. I love your waterfall... even frozen. : )
I've been getting a lot of cleaning done too.. feels good!!!
Have a great weekend.
The waterfall is pretty all iced over.
Wow! That's a lot of Robins. How fun to see them. How nice to have your son so close to be able to enjoy time with him. Great photo of your waterfall iced over!
Yeah for the first robins. A welcome sight, I am sure.
The frozen waterfall made me smile. It looked so nice.
