Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Game Night

A cloudy morning for walking, 21 degrees, just a little wind and
once again a few snow flurries floating on down.

Saturday mornings are usually quiet and it was the same today.
Walked all around town, both cemeteries today and down
to check on the bulls.
Most were still sleeping and aa couple early risers were having breakfast.

No people out again.
Driving home I had to stop to let 2 wild turkeys run across the road.
They half ran and half flew.  Funny to watch.

Walked 6 miles

☁️    πŸ˜ƒ    🚢‍♀️

Late morning the sun decided to come out and brighten our day.

No knitting today but got some weave-it squares made.
A nice day around the house.

Ken got the slow cooker started early this morning with his recipe
of sausage Tuscany soup.
David and Liz are coming over this evening for supper and
another game night.  They should be arriving any time now.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy sunny day to you.

Game night sounds like great fun and something to look forward to for sure. The bulls look quite contented today. They probably enjoy having you come to visit. :~)

I hope your game night is lots of fun. I wonder if you'll play Mexican Train.

So nice you can David and Liz over for game nights. Do you always play Life? I loved that game when I was a kid and so did my daughters.

So nice that you can see people! We are at the end of the two weeks wait period after our second vaccine and we are hoping to get together with my husband's cousin and his wife for game night. Although we have had both shots we are still wearing masks and being very careful. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hi Happyone, In your post on Friday, The First Robins, sure liked that first photo. The Robins in the leafless tree. Neat shot and it looks almost exactly like a tree in my front yard when the Robins gather there. John

Game night and soup to go with it before sounds real great.
Loved the bull picture and that old door is so interesting. I love pictures of doors. Old and New.
