Started my morning walk in the basement and went a couple of miles.
Back up stairs and looked out the window to see the sun shining on the tops of the trees.
Took the picture from the front porch.
Got the slow cooker going with chicken in it and then baked some
Chocolate Chippers.
Ken had to pick up some books at the library so I decided to walk to town
and meet him at the library. Wanted to check out the roads and
sidewalks for walking. Some places good others not so good.
It was 24 degrees and windy.
Can you spot all the cows around the tree in the center of the picture?
There were a few snow flurries on the way to town but nothing came of them.
Sky shot on the way to town.
I got to the library just as Ken was getting there. I hopped in the truck
and we waited for his books to be put outside for curbside pickup.
Walked my usual 6 miles counting inside and outside.
In the afternoon I got some housecleaning done and then
read some, made a few weave-its, and did a little on the puzzle.
Hope your Friday was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.

GrannyM - David has been known to do a puzzle or two. πHe's not so young anymore though at 48! Can't believe I have a son that old!

I love the sky shot...I had to open the pic up to see the cows. That must have been a warm spot for them to gather there. Or sheltered some how.
I do see those cows. Nice photos. Glad you could have a walk in and out today. We are getting ready to head out for the beginning of a Marriage conference at our church tonight and tomorrow morning. Hope you have a nice weekend.
Hi Karen - I found the cows in the picture! We are supposed to get snow here tonight and tomorrow and this afternoon when we walked, we walked in the rain. Hope you have a good weekend. I saw in the your answers that your son is 48. My oldest daughter will be 40 this coming May. Wow, I am the mom of a middle aged woman! Where do the years go?? Glad that things went well for you today. See you again soon.
Brrrr. Looking at your pictures makes me feel chilled. I had to enlarge the picture to find the cows. In summer cows huddle under a tree for shade but I don't know why they do that in winter! I remember when we lived on the prairies some cows were under a tree in a thunder storm and lightning hit the tree they were under. End of cows.
...wow, what a view from your porch!
Sounds like you had a peaceful and productive day. It is very cold here today and it is supposed to stay that way for several days. We will be hunkering down!
I love that sky shot. That is spectacular. My son will be 49 in May. Time flies for sure.
You got a lot accomplished for one day.
Oh, and spotted the cows too
The porch offers you such a beautiful view.
Enjoy your day!
Beautiful landscape views.
Beautiful photographs, especially your first one.
All the best Jan
