Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

More snow and a puzzle

Once again it snowed over night and into the morning

so had another walk down in the basement with the trains.

A look out the basement doors.

Didn't go out and shovel the snow today because it was very
windy.  Didn't have to go anywhere so decided to put off the
shoveling until tomorrow.

I made 2 loaves of English Muffins this morning.
Sliced them up and put one loaf in the freezer.

Another puzzle is completed.
I'd like to live here.

Kept busy this afternoon doing a bit of this around the house
and then getting some reading in before supper.

Hope your Wednesday was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.

I LOVE that puzzle...kind of envy the snow. I would like for us to have one good snow, but I don't think it is going to happen.

The snow looks quite like it does here at the present.

...we received 1 1/2" of snow overnight. Fabulous details Ken! The Yiddish saving is spot on!!!

That's a great puzzle. You are getting your fair share of snow. We are in freezing temps here so time will tell if more snow will fall soon! Back home getting laundry done after our time in Arizona!

Wind and snow... sounds like a good day to curl up with a good book! Some of the train scenes are so life like.

Beautiful puzzle. A nice big snow storm is predicted for us this weekend. We need snow. Today was bright and sunny. I love the quote at the end. See you again tomorrow.

I love your snow, your train filled basement, and what a lovely puzzle. I just finished my first puzzle since childhood. I got a simple 300 piece one for ages 9+. Well, I'm certainly a lot of plus, so I felt I had to succeed. I did. Will show it off soon and another one is on its way from Amazon. Have a blessed day.

That is a beautiful puzzle. Such a tranquil scene. It sure does look like a nice place to live.
Always enjoy seeing your walks, even in the basement.

Was showing my son your winter pictures. It snowed here in the Deep South on my birthday in 2018. Before that it was 2009. Before that 2000, and before that 1989. 1989 and 2018 were the only two years of any significance so seeing your pictures are always “fantasy” like to us. Beautiful. The puzzle is gorgeous. Homemade “anything” sounds great but hot homemade ENGLISH MUFFINS...wow!

Like the puzzle. That looks like a harder one with all the similar shades! Quite lovely.
