49 degrees and cloudy this morning when I drove to town for my walk.
Walked all over town and around both cemeteries and the ball park.
Lena and Pam were out walking again today.
Lots of chipmunks running around this morning.
Almost ran over one driving back home.
See one of these smart cars around every so often.
They sure are tiny!!
Stopped the car on the way home to take this picture just a mile from home.
Walked 5.7 miles

The sun came out right after breakfast and we had another pretty
fall day on this first day of October.
Love these nice cool, crisp days.
A great day for hanging out the laundry.
I did a little project out front this afternoon.
Collected some stones and
edged the right side of this walkway with them.
Learned how to put books in different collections on my Kindle today.
Also if you touch a word and hold it, the definition of the word pops up.
Wonder what other little things I'll figure out!
That's all I've got for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Happy October

October's the month
When the smallest breeze
Give us a shower
Of autumn leaves.
Bonfires and pumpkins,
Leaves sailing down -
October is red
And golden and brown.

You wouldn't catch me in one of those tiny cars. Someone sneezes & the car would be totaled! lol
I'm sure glad you stopped for that beautiful scene!...and, walkway is looking good!
Your walkway looks great, well done! I loved the photo you took on the way home... October is such a beautiful month.
It was worth stopping the car for that beautiful photo! I am always amazed by how tiny those cars are. Wonder what it feels like to be on the inside? Your stone project looks nice. Happy October. Love today's poem.
Your picture on the road home is just gorgeous .
I can see why you stopped for that photo. Thank you! 🍁
That is such a beautiful fall photo. I love the way you are lining your walkway with stones. Looks great. I need to learn more about how to use my Kindle. I have had it since 2016, but haven't read too many books on my Kindle of my phone. I am starting to download and read more Kindle books however. Have a great Friday and I will see you again soon.
I wouldn't want one of those tiny cars. I think I wouldn't feel safe.
They probably do great on gas though!
These cars are good for delivering pizzas and other foods.
God bless.
Hello,
I've the tiny smart cars, they are cute. Your fall colors and trees are looking beautiful! Your walkway looks great. Take care, enjoy your day! Have a happy weekend!
Beautiful Autumn colors - signalling Winter is on the way. Hot day here for Spring- tomorrow is expected to be 30 Deg C. Have a great weekend.
What beautiful pictures. I would have loved to go on a walk like that.
I love October, it's still too hot here, but it will cool down. I hope soon. I love the picture you took of the trees changing color. You live in such a beautiful place.
Glad you stopped to take that photo. So pretty. You did a great job with the border of the walkway! Love it.
I love the leaves, and that shot you stopped for is gorgeous.
I love the fact that I can put my finger on a word and get the definition. I find myself doing that on my phone an not on the kindle app...just in reading things.
You know you can highlight things you want to remember. Also, you can look up things in the book. On the search, just type in a word or name...and it will bring up all the times used in the book...and will give a sentence or so of how it is used that time. You can also add your own files to it. A friend gave me a book her dad wrote...about his life...I don't remember if it was in pdf, and has been so long ago I don't remember the steps...but I think I sent it to them and they converted it to go on my kindle.
I doubt my long legs could fit in a Smart car.
I've seen a few smart cars here too. I wouldn't feel very safe in them. Your walkway looks nice with the rocks outlining the edge.
Thank you for stopping and taking that wonderful photograph, it's such a beautiful scene.
All the best Jan
I always said gas would never be so expensive I would want to drive one of those cars! Way too tiny and dangerous! Beautiful pictures!
