Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A warm morning

Was quite warm this morning with a temperature of 59 degrees!
It was a cloudy morning with little wind.

Drove to town on this early Saturday morning and had a random
walk all around town.

The church in town continued with their yard sale from
yesterday and were getting things ready again when I walked by.
Peggy saw me walk by and said I blended in well the autumn colors.
I was wearing red and orange with a bright orange hat.

Rebecca was out walking and this time had her little puppy
Leo with her.  Such a cute little guy and friendly too.
Passed a woman walking around the ball park loop
who I see every once in a while but don't know her name.

Colors this fall seem to be extra bright and colorful.
What a joy to live in this part of the country to witness it in person.

Walked 5.8 miles

😃    ☁️    🍁    🍂

Since we get that $5 off coupon at the Dollar General for Saturday
we've been going Saturday mornings and did again today.

Got things put away and then went up to the cabin.
We did a little clean up and I got the fire barrel going.

Took this picture from the top of our driveway at the house.

After lunch Ken went back up to the cabin but I stayed home
and did fun things around the house.

We grilled hamburgers outside and made french fries for supper.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy Saturday to you.

lovely colorful trees! Grilled burgers are always delicious. Better looking at a gas well than a housing development. I need to check out $ General more often. They used to sell clothes in my area but were replaced with a freezer/refrigerator case, better selling food than clothes. Have a relaxing weekend and be safe.

Oh, I can't imagine seeing all that beauty at the end of my driveway. We have to drive to the mountains to see color like that. You really do live in a beautiful place.

You have amazing colors. I see that you get those gorgeous reds, which we don’t see much of here.
