A cloudy morning and 55 degrees this morning when I walked.
Drove to town again and will be doing that for a while now that
the mornings are dark.
Walked all over town, around both cemeteries a couple of times
and the ball park too.
Went past our old house and the road behind there as well.
The bulls were out down past the Drane house and I said
good morning to them. Have only seen two there for a long time now.
Noticed a wreath and a pumpkin by the door at the Drane house.
Lena and Pam were walking and I saw them two different times around town.
Walked 6 miles

Drove to church this morning for Blankets for Babies.
Some of the women have been meeting for the last few months
and I finally felt comfortable about joining in again.
Haven't been there in person but still have been making the blankets.
Sure was nice to get back to that again and had a great time.
There were 8 of us there.
Here's that latest blanket I've made.
Some pictures of the sidewalk work that Ken did at church in the
beginning of the week.
Pulled up old VERY THICK pieces of an old sidewalk with the
tractor and loaded them into the dump trailer.
and we dumped the old
sidewalk up at Happy Trails which we will use for fill.
Still working on the outlining of the counted cross stitch and I
can see the end of it drawing near.
Just a few more days and it should be done.
That's all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy Thursday to you.

Love that baby blanket! Glad you felt comfortable enough to meet up with the Baby Blanket ladies again. Hope you have a good Thursday evening!
I love the wreath and pumpkin at the Drane house! Love that baby blanket, too.
I love that cute little blanket. You do very well with those. :) What an old house and the wreath looks perfect on the door. Ken did some good work getting that cement carried away. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
The simple wreath and lone pumpkin look so good in that picture.
Your baby blanket has a touch of Fall in it too I see. It must have been a joy to join your church friends again and work together.
...whoever poured the concrete for those sidewalks expected that they would last forever!
The wreath and pumpkin turn that door into a piece of art.
That's a nice lot of fill. So glad that you returned to your baby blanket group. It is good to be with other people. That is a nice picture of the Drane house door.
So glad you felt safe joining in with Blankets for Babies again. I love this latest blanket you made. Have a great Friday and I will see you again soon.
I like the simple wreath and single pumpkin... and the wonderful old door. The new blanket may be my favorite because of the touches of brown.
Hi Karen- It is good to be with people -like your Baby Blanket Friends- My only outing to be with people is to go to an outdoor Cafe and have a cuppa with people about-and that is it. Have a great weekend. Regards. KEV.
the entry at the drane house is so pretty! the blanket is a treasure! your walking distance is a perfect number on such a pretty morning.
You do a lot of hard work with all those stones you collected.
God bless.
Hello,
Love the door and wreath. The baby blanket is pretty. It is nice you were able to get together with the ladies at the church again. Love the kindness quote! Take care, enjoy your day! Wishing you a happy weekend!
The baby blanket looks very nice! I'm sad that it stays dark later in the morning now and gets dark earlier in the evening!
Hard work filled with kindness, I know that's part of being happyone.
I do like that wreath.
It's great that the old sidewalk can be reused instead of being discarded.
You do lovely work with those blankets! We’re not quite ready to join groups again; hope you’re enjoying the contact with others.
I do like the wreath and pumpkin at the Drane house.
Your baby blanket looks great.
All the best Jan
