Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Walking in the sunshine

Woke up to pouring rain this morning and put on my
rain pants and yellow slicker to go walking.
About to leave and the rain stopped, so I changed into regular walking clothes
and just took along the umbrella just in case.
Ended with a blue sky and sun with some pretty white clouds.
It was 49 degrees when I walked to town.
Went around both of the cemeteries a couple of times.
This taken at the one on top of the hill.

Two people were fishing at the town pond.
Didn't see anyone else out.

No animals today except for all the birds.

Walked 6 miles

🌤     🙂     🌤

Right after breakfast we went to do our weekly food
shopping at the Shop and Save.
Once again there were just a few other people there.

By the time we got home the weather had changed again.
The sun left and the clouds returned.
Rained a few times today as well and then out came the sun.
Very changeable weather.

Got a little housework done but mostly just keep busy
doing all my usual things.

That's about it for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy and healthy day to you.

Those clouds look amazing. I have a fascination with clouds.

Did you get tired of carrying the umbrella?
I'm glad the weather has been pretty good for walking.

Lovely pictures from your walk today. We have had a beautiful spring day here today. Our grocery stores around here are going to start limiting the number of people in the store at one time so we may have to wait in line to do our shopping or find a time when not many people are there. Have a good evening. I will see you again tomorrow.

You are blessed to not have many shopping. Apparently, our stores have quite a few people shopping and only 50 or 75 are allowed in at a time so everyone queues up outside keeping a 6 ft distance from the person ahead. Sometimes the lines are very long.

The skies were beautiful after the rain! I can almost feel the freshness of the air. I have been lucky lately to dodge rain showers. It seems like carrying an umbrella scares them away.

Lovely photos. Wise to take an umbrella these days - as the saying goes, April showers … Happy Easter to you!

Hello,

Pretty sky captures. We had rain off and on yesterday. My hubby did our food shop by himself yesterday, all went ok. Take care, wishing you a happy day!

Isn't it funny how quick the weather can change. Monday was a beautiful day. I came inside to rest for a few minutes, sat down on the couch and fell asleep. Sat there less than an hour, woke up to wind and rain. Had left the hay, chicken feed, and Eli's blanket out. Of course, it all got soaked. Guess it doesn't pay to stop and rest. :) I always enjoy your beautiful pictures.

We have had a lot of sun. It was in the 80’s here yesterday. I’m ready to see some rain and those summer afternoon storms.
