Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Outside

Drove to town for my morning walk at 6:30.
31 degrees, calm, and sunny once a bit of fog burned off.
Sunrise 7:08

The town pond where I park when driving to town.

Cemetery on the top of the hill.

Walked all over town up and around both cemeteries and the ball park loop.

Lower cemetery on the left.

Seemed to be a good many cars about this morning.

Saw Rebecca walking around town once again.
See her most days now.

Saw quite a lot of robins but still haven't been able to
get a picture of one.  They just fly off too fast.

Great being out in the fresh air and SUNSHINE. 🙂
Walked 6 miles

☀️     ☀️

Made French toast for our breakfast and then did my usual
chores around the house.

It would have been a Fingerprint work day at church today
but that isn't happening.

Our big day out today was going to the refuse center to get
rid of our trash.

We packed another picnic lunch and ate in the truck again.

Nice sunny afternoon so we went outside.
I added more dead fall to the fence and have the areas that
have already been cleared pretty much cleaned up.

This is the next section I will be working on.

Some pretty little yellow flowers.

Was nice enough to sit on the front porch after working.

That's been my day.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you.
happyone 🙂

Dear went to the dump yesterday. It was good to unload the truck from all that trash. Nice to have a picnic! We're finding it pretty easy to social distance here in the country.

Those flowers are Sweet Coltsfoot, always one of the first flowers to bloom in spring. Great picture!

Your walks look so lovely. Even the pretty yellow flowers are beautiful in spring.

Your reflections on the pond are beautiful, but my favorite of the day is of the early yellow flowers. Will you saw the longer trees into shorter lengths when you move them? I need a small saw in our woods.

We noticed a lot of traffic on our road yesterday (Thursday), too. Very little today.

all fog pics are great! PA has a current stay at home order as of Friday 8 PM. Ok by me. Attempting face masks for family and friends. Fingers crossed for that. Be safe and healthy Happyone:)

The mist is quite dramatic.
