Up and out of the house at 6:35.
It was 44 degrees and sunny after the sun came up.
A bit of a breeze early but became very windy later in the morning.
Sunrise 7:02
A nice walk to town.
Saw a few deer and a couple of rabbits
and of course all the birds were out and about chirping away merrily.
Walked through town and over to and around the ball park loop.
Continued on past the post office and past the child care center.
Then to the lower cemetery, around there, and back home again.
Rebecca out walking too and over by the town pond
there were three people fishing.
Don't know if you can see them in the picture.
Thought these daffodils were especially pretty.
Most all of the forsythia around town are blooming now.
Walked 6 miles
Found a quarter
☀️ 💰 🙂
Right after breakfast we went to the Dollar General here in town.
Some of the things we need are cheaper there so we go there
on Monday now and tomorrow will go to the Shop and Save
and get the rest of our groceries.
I've been working on the counted cross stitch project regularly
and this is the progress after a weeks work on it.
Haven't worked much on the latest puzzle lately but today
it got worked on quite a bit.
Still have a long way to go though.
Tonight supper was hamburgers and potato salad.
The potato salad recipe I use is the one I use for
but use potatoes instead of the macaroni.
That's all folks.
That's all folks.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy and healthy day to you.

I love your cross stitch! That's just my style!
Very nice cross stitch. I went to the Dollar Store today and bought a bunch of their greeting cards that are actually 50 cents each. They have lots of great Easter cards, too. Looks like I'll be spending more money on stamps and less money on gas during this time. Have a nice evening.
...I would have a hard time threading the needle!
You are really making progress on the counted cross stitch. The forsythia is so pretty. I have not been anywhere to see if any is blooming. I don't know why I don't have any. I have always like it. It is going to be a while before I have daffodils, but I see others in full bloom.
I really like the frilly centers on the Daffodils and that Forsythia bush is enormous. Maybe it is several bushes close together. Love all the yellows.
That is a really pretty daffodil. Mine are just about finished so it is nice to extend the season by viewing them on your blog.
Your cross stitch is coming along nicely. It's always fun to see the picture taking shape.
Hamburgers and potato salad sound yummy to me.
Those Daffodils are stunning.
The forsythia is glorious! I hope it looks like that up here when it gets going.
your counted cross-stitch project is so nice, Karen. You do lovely work!
And those daffodils are the old fashioned variety. I have some of those two and I think they are especially beautiful because of being double.
I can tell from your pictures that it was a beautiful morning to be out walking! I love the cross stitch!
Nice flowers
Wonderful flowers and another coin for your collection.
How come I never find any money when driving around town?
God bless.
Hello,
The yellow daffies and forsythia look so pretty and cheerful. Another great day for a walk, but every day is great. Wishing you a happy healthy new week!
I love daffodils - that early shock of yellow! I like your cross stitch project. I bet you could register your property as a wildlife habitat pretty easily. It sounds ideal.
Hi - Whenever I see Daffodils I think of my Mum- we use to have 'Daffodil' Brand Butter!...a long time ago. Nice photos Karen.
I get my paper products at Dollar General, so glad I went at the beginning of March, before the rush on toilet paper began. I'm set to stay in my house until the end of April now.
And how I love daffodils and all the yellow flowers of spring. Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos.
Beautiful cross stitch!!
The Daffodils are pretty. My wife loves doing cross stitch between her knitting projects.
Such wonderful photographs, the daffodils looks so lovely.
I do like your cross stitching.
All the best Jan
The daffs are quite cheerful.
