Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another puzzle

It is light enough now for me to leave the house at 6:45
when I go walking.
A mix of sun and clouds and just a bit of a breeze.
25 degrees and sunrise was 7:03

Walked to town again.

Made a loop around town and over to the ball park and walked
that loop and then to the lower cemetery and around there
and then headed back home.

Forgot to take along another glove to put on a post.
Will try to remember for tomorrow.

Pretty quiet around town for a weekday but maybe that's
because I'm leaving earlier again.

That little yappy dog Ki came running down the road after me again.
I just pretty much ignore him now.
He just doesn't want to be friends.

Walked my usual 6 miles

🌤     🌤

Made another batch of Chocolate Chippers this morning
and got some of that never ending house work done.
Though cleaning is not one of my favorite things to do,
I do like to have a nice clean and tidy house.

After lunch we drove to town and did a few local errands.
Library
Post Office
and I dropped the recipe off at the dentists.

All the pieces of the latest puzzle are sitting out on the table
ready to be put together.

Didn't finish reading David Copperfield last night but
did finish it this afternoon.
It is one of my all time favorite books.

Next up to read is
The Revolving Door of Life by Alexander McCall Smith
which I'll start later.

That's it for today.
Nice to have a sunny day.
Hope you had one too.
Thanks for visiting.

We have a yappy dog that acts like it is going to chew us up if when we walk by his property. If I turn to him, he runs scared. Now we just ignore him as he has proved to be all mouth. Haha.
That looks like an interesting puzzle.

We did have a sunny day but it was quite cold.

I didn’t know that you don’t particularly like cleaning. You have fooled me all these years! It was sunny, which gave me the chance to clean up after the plow...my favorite kind of winter day...fresh clean snow, puffy white clouds, and blue, blue skies.

We did have sunshine today! Yay! That puzzle looks as though it might be a bit challenging...well, for me, it might be!

Those shots of the sky are wonderful. It makes me think that Spring is truly on the way. Enjoy the rest of your week!

I feel exactly the same about housework. I get it done as early in the day as I can because I like the house to be tidy. The only chore I really dislike is cleaning windows. Used to be cleaning the oven but now with a self-cleaning one that's a job I don't have on my list any more.

Good luck on your puzzle

The puzzle looks difficult.

Now, whenever I buy a puzzle I open the box in the shop and count all the pieces to make sure they're all there. I have been banned from several shops for doing this. Have you ever done so? How do you make sure all the pieces are there?

God bless.

Hello, Pretty skies during your walk. The puzzle looks hard. Cleaning house is not my favorite thing to do, I do like a neat home. YAY for sunshine! Wishing you a happy day!

Hi Karen. I'm with you. I don't enjoy cleaning, but do enjoy the clean house. Last night, I cleaned and mom the basement bathroom and storage room, so it feels good to at least to have that done. Tonight, I'll tackle the upstairs bathrooms and vacuum and mom. Charly always help, but he isn't feeling that good this week, so I will try to talk him out of helping and probably won't be successful. I like your new puzzle. Your sky picture is beautiful. Your phone really takes good pictures. I was told that only iPhones took really good pictures, but that really isn't true. Have a good day. See you later!

I feel the same way about cleaning. A necessary evil I guess.
When I first saw the puzzle I thought that it would take a long time to finish that. Then I remembered who will be doing it and was reminded that you two will have it done in no time.
No sun here today. Rain that is supposed to turn to snow later this afternoon.

We had a sunny day, too. Glad it's getting to that time of year where you can walk earlier.

I love a clean house, also! I haven't minded housework as much since we moved to a smaller place and I can actually get it done in 1/2 of a day if I stick with it! My favorite thing to do, believe it or not is wash windows because they look so nice when I'm done! Crazy, I know!

That doesn't look an easy puzzle but I'm sure you will enjoy doing it.

All the best Jan
