Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another glove

Outside walking this morning at 6:40.
It was cloudy, calm, and 19 degrees F.
Sunrise 7:02

Walked to town and on the way stopped to put another glove
on a post.  There are 4 of them now, all in a row.

Once I got to town I walked around the lower cemetery.
Then walked around town before heading back home again.

A routine walk, no people, no animals, just me and myself.

Walked 6 miles

Just had time to get home, change and head out the door
to go to church for a morning of fellowship and working on
baby blankets.
There were 10 of us there today.
Since last time we met one of the woman has gone home
to be with the Lord.
Her passing was unexpected and a complete shock.
The devotional today that Marilyn gave was more of
a memorial for Theresa.
She will be missed.

Didn't do much this afternoon.
Just enjoyed being around home.

I will be taking a little break,
just a few days,
be back soon.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you.

So funny how you find those gloves and put them on the posts. Sorry about the loss of your friend at church. That's so sad. Just caught up with your last four posts. I sure stay behind all the time. Enjoy reading them anyway.

I wonder how many people drive by and see those gloves and wonder how they come to be there.

I also wonder how many people will notice the gloves, and how many will figure out how they got there. I am sorry about the loss of one of your close sewing circle friends. I hope you have a happy little break and lots of sunshine!

Hi Karen- Sorry to hear of your Church Friend- Theresa. So sad when we loose a Friend - I've lost six of my Mates these past few years- I virtually think of them each and every day- especially my old high school mate (Richard Wallis). Regards. KEV.

Oh I hate to hear of your friend passing. Sudden passing can be hard to shake.
I still love the glove idea. So fun and leaves people wondering.
I bet it will help people find their way too.. “Look for the gloves”. Haha
