Out of the house walking at 6:36.

Walked to town.
This is the driveway to Farmer Marvin's farm.
Found a glove and put it on the post here along the road.
I bet that is there a good long while.
Once I got to town, stayed on the main road and walked through town.
Passed by the old house and then went over to the ball park
and walked the loop there.
Then back through town and home.
All the puddles were frozen.
Saw three deer on the way to town.
Not surprisingly there were no other people out.
Very quiet in town on this early cold morning.
This day was cold enough for me to wear my very warm coat
and it did the trick. I was nice and warm.
Walked 6 miles

Ken went up to the wood shop in the ATV to clean things up a bit there.

On the walk back a nice big 6 point buck crossed my path.
He disappeared in the woods as quick as he came.

A few of our friendly neighbor cows.
I stayed inside after lunch and puttered around the house.
That's all for today.
A happy day to you.
Thanks for visiting.

Eileen - 800 bear hunting permits are given out each year though many more apply. Each permit allows the hunter only one bear.

Farmer Marvin has a long driveway to keep clear in winter!!
...we also were cold today, but a bit warmer than you. The the driveway to Farmer Marvin's farm is such a lovely view!
On a day when I would have energy, those trails would so great to walk along.
Very nice photos there- looks extremely cold- especially those frozen puddles.Cooler here to-day, next Tuesday it will be tough for the Fire Fighters up North. A few weeks yet to Summer starts.
I like your views from your walk, but not sure how I would feel walking in that temp. LOL I wonder what the cows think when they see you...there is some we pass and I would love to know if they are babied cause they sure always look to us to see if we are bringing them something.
We just had a few cows at home and each one had a name...LOL
I just knew you must have worn your warmest coat on such a cold morning. The cattle here pay little attention to me unless I carry an umbrella, wear my big puffy L.L. Bean with hood over my head, or if I wear dark sun glasses. Those trails through the woods look as though they are just begging to be explored!
Oh I love it all the photos are so amazing
xx
The glove belongs to the man who lost his golf ball.
God bless.
Hello,
Thanks for the answer on the bear hunting. You do have pretty view on your walk. It has been awhile since I have seen a buck. I like the pretty red leaves and the cows. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your Sunday, have a great new week. PS, thanks for the visit and comment too.
Your first shot is my favourite.
The glove looks like a furry little animal! 🤣

What a lovely walk on a cold and crisp morning. I find gloves too on my walks, they're usually right hand ones. :)
Wonderful photos and a have a lovely day!
It certainly looks a lovely walk.
I hope someone may come and find their lost glove …
All the best Jan
Can someone give the glove a hand?
