Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A tissue in the wash

Drove to town again and parked by the pond and started walking at 6:45.
It was 60 degrees, cloudy and calm.
Sunrise 6:59
Took another one of those random walks around town.
Walked up where Lisa (who I see running quite often) lives
which is where I turned around and took this picture.
These are her two ponies.
Walked back to the main road and then over to the ball park
loop and walked around there a couple of times.
Then to the post office to drop off some mail down the slot.
Continued on around town and then around the lower cemetery
and finally to the cemetery on top of the hill.
Quite a bit of the corn field got cut down since Saturday.
Collected a few more fallen apples to bring home for our deer.

Saw Dwayne walking and a woman walking her dog.
I see her quite often but her dog doesn't seem friendly and barks a lot
so she walks away from people.

Walked my usual 6 miles
Found a dime
Victor, that's like 10 pennies 🙂
🍁     🍂     🍃
Did a couple loads of laundry and hung out on the line.
The second load I washed a tissue got washed too.
I hate when that happens!!
It took me forever to pick all the little pieces off the clothes
and it was all over the laundry room too.

Our neighbor Ron stopped by to give us a couple of his
tomatoes from his garden.
Each tomato weighs a pound!!

We went to the library in town to pick up a book that they put
aside for me.  (The book club book for October.)

Came back home and washed my jeep.
Last time I washed it and put it in the garage the very
first time we drove it, it rained.
Hopefully tomorrow the weather will be nice tomorrow.

The rest of the afternoon I puttered around and
we then went to Brenda's for pizza.
Half price pizza has started up again. 🙂  🍕

Hope your day was a happy one.
happyone 🥰

Those tomatoes are sure big! Ron seems like a great neighbour, sharing his produce.
One little tissue can make a lot of mess!! It hasn't happened here for a while; I try to check all pockets before throwing stuff in the washer but you know how it is, easy to miss one.

...a tissue in my pants happens now and then, I'm never popular when that happens.

Tissue in the pants pockets happens more than I care to admit. But luckily for me the tissues are intact. Once I take it out of the dryer is when I find a washed, dried tissue. So far I haven't reused them, lol. Those are huge tomatoes.

The sun rose here this morning at 6:57. On the 26th both the sunrise and sunset will be at 7:04. There's nothing can compare to the moment when the sun first rises above the horizon. I have vowed many times to never miss a sunrise again, but sometimes I do. That's a great looking red tractor. It looks like one you might like to drive! :~)

I very much dislike having a tissue in the wash. I makes such a mess. Those tomatoes look amazing.

The tomatoes look delicious!

Love that sunrise...it is gorgeous. Always love 'looking down the road' shots.

I haven't seen any harvesting started here, but it should not be long! A lot of the corn is really turning brown.

Aargh! A tissue in a pocket is quite the messy culprit for sure. Those tomatoes are enormous! You got to enjoy a beautiful sunrise. Have a great Tuesday!

Hooray ... you found a dime. I like it when you find money. You should put them in a book and record when and where they were found.

As for a tissue in the laundry. Here's a neat trick. Put something red in the washing machine. Magically, everything turns pink. It's great fun in our household when I do this and there's shouting everywhere!!!

God bless.

As soon as I read this title, I thought, “oh no”. Yes I hate when that happens too. I pick, shake then wash again. Then we play the blame game. Hahaha

Oh those tomatoes look amazing! Bet they were/will be tasty! Seems to be a fair bit of color your way. Tissue in the laundry is a major pain and I hate to check pockets. 😣

I bet those tomatoes taste great. I have left a tissue in my shirt pocket and had pieces everywhere too. I even had my wallet washed once. :)
Enjoy your day.

Fabulous tomatoes, and beautiful blooms in your last photograph.

All the best Jan

PS A tissue in your wash is not fun!
