Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

The Farm Loop

A nice cool morning walk with a temperature of 51 degrees.
A few low hanging clouds around and lots of sunshine.

Instead of walking from home to town,
I drove down to the old house and parked in the driveway.
Then set out on my old route walking around the Farm Loop.
Haven't walked that in a long time, a bit too far to walk it from home.

This is the little pond at Farmer Bill's farm.
Was hoping to see him outside but no luck, all quiet around his place.
Turned around after walking up the hill and took this picture.
The red barn is Farmer Bill's.
Farther around the loop is this red barn.
I passed it up and took the picture after I passed it.
This is the Dairy Farm along the loop.
There were no cows in the pasture just to the left but I could see
cows in the pasture behind the barn.
If you look close you can see a couple of chickens on the right.
Will probably have to click to enlarge the picture.
From the dairy farm my walk continued up the hill to the school,
then down a hill back to town.

Stopped at the post office and dropped some mail down the slot,
then walked a couple of times around the ball park loop
and then back to the car.

Sure was nice walking the Farm loop again.
I'll have to do that more often.
So peaceful and along the whole route not one car passed by.

Made French toast for breakfast.
We've been having that quite a lot lately.

It was a beautiful sunny day in the high 60's.
Perfect weather for working out back in the woods
and that is just what we did.

A happy day to you.

Most all of you knew or guessed right that the red corvette was my favorite red car.
It was my dream car!!

Oh, I would love to walk the farm loop with you. So pretty . . . of course you would probably have to slow your pace for slow pokey me, LOL.

You have lovely scenes to enjoy on your walk.

I saw my neighbors tree had a large branch fall on their deck. Damage could have been worse. I had a smaller branch hit the side of my house about 2 weeks ago.

You sure live in a pretty area...but then I think most places possess a beauty all their own...love the photos you took this day.
