Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tractor had its first ride over the bridge! 🚜

A sunny windy walk with a temperature of 48 degrees this morning.
Headed out to town
and walked up to and around the cemetery on the hill
Then down to see the bulls.
The one is resting his head on the others back.
Saturday when I posted the picture from a different perspective of the barn
I was walking up the road in the distance and was
between the school up there on the left and the trees.
This geese family was at the little town pond.
Saw Rebecca out taking her morning walk and
stopped at the post office and dropped some mail down the slot.
Then I headed back home.
🐄     🐄
Did some housework this morning.
Ken came in while I was working and told me he was going to drive the tractor
over his stone arched bridge for the first time.
I went outside to watch.
He went slowly and there was NO problem at all.
Bridge held firm.
Ken was sure it would be strong enough but still that first
time is still a bit scary.
A stone arch is very strong!!
He went over it numerous times today.

Later in the afternoon I finally made it outside to get some
more land clearing done.
On the cool side and windy but the sun was out
and no bugs around!

It was nice to cleaned up and then head out
to Brenda's for our Monday night pizza.

Find the joy in your day and be thankful.

Till next time....

The bull looks quite serious.

Nice looking bulls--do you know if they are grown? Cannot believe how big the goslings are...it so makes me want to go to the Heron viewing park about an hour from here. There is usually so much going on there. But the way it has rained so much and the water stayed high, not sure what will be going on there.

...sounds like the bridge was engineered well!

I like the looks of those huge bulls, but I must admit that I fear them and don't want to be too close.

That’s a neat picture of the resting bull... That bridge is an engineering triumph!

Yay! the tractor and Ken made it! The photo of the bulls is priceless, Dh and I are amazed at how animals bond with each other and of how considerate they are of each other, a lesson we humans could learn.
Your weather seems perfect to me, until yesterday we had been under an extreme heat wave for weeks. This morning was so perfect, Enjoy your day.
Blessings,
Sue
