Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Good News

45 degrees this morning, sunny and calm.
Just starting out when I took this of our neighbor cows.
Walked the Hilly Loop today.
I've taken a picture of this old mill of some kind before but think
it is such a neat old building.
It is next to a river and I'm thinking there must have been a water wheel there
and the wood rotting away was part of it.
Usually no cars pass me at all till I get to the highway
3 miles away, but today FIVE cars passed me.

Saw a few deer, lots of birds, a rabbit, and a couple of chipmunks.
Sure was a beautiful morning for walking.
🐞     🐞
After breakfast we watched 2 deer with their three fawns.
Yes, one had twins!!
The little ones came running and then the moms sauntered down.
We never get tired of watching them.
🏠
Have some very good news to tell you that has made us very happy.
Got a contract on the house and we have accepted it.
Will be even happier if all goes well and we go to closing!!!
🏠
Ken will be going on the men's getaway this year again.
He's put the ATV on the trailer and gotten a bunch of stuff together and
is all ready to go.
The guys leave bright in early in the morning.
They always have a great time.

Did a little more work out back clearing the woods.

That's about it for today.
Be back tomorrow.
Hope your day is a happy one.
happyone 🥰

I am so excited to hear that you had an offer on the house and you accepted it. I'll persevere in prayer until after the closing! It's the best news I've heard all day!

Congrats on a contract on your home. Praying all goes smoothly and it closes. Those are wonderful pictures of the old mill and love the deer. The first birth I ever saw was a mother deer giving birth to twins in the woods. It was amazing to me...even growing up on the farm I was not allowed in the barn at birthing time for calves.

Have a wonderful night- xoDiana
