This morning when I left on my walk there was a light drizzle
falling, the temperature was 55, and it was windy.
5 minutes later the drizzle stopped and it was just cloudy
for the rest of my walk.
Walked the 5.2 mile Hilly Route loop today.
Stopped to take a picture of the water as I crossed over it.
The later down the road I cross back over it again and walk
up to the highway.
Then just walked back home again.
A nice quiet, peaceful walk.
Saw a couple of rabbits, heard lots of birds but didn't see any deer at all.
The honeysuckle is blooming around here now and it sure smells wonderful.
It is all along the road that I live on.

Ken went outback to work outside while I stayed inside
to get some housework done.
After lunch I got some weave-its made and read.
Was going to go out back and work outside but never made it out.
It was windy and cloudy and looked like rain all day.
That's about it for today.

Joyful - The baby blankets are taken to the local hospital and are given to all the babies born there. Each blanket has a packet attached which tells about Jesus and an invitation to visit our church.

Such beautiful scenery. Thank you for the reply. That is a great ministry and I'm glad the hospital agrees to it. May all your efforts be blessed.
...the road in the first image is beautiful. Honeysuckle may smell nice, but it can be invasive. Enjoy your weekend.
From your photographs it does look a nice quiet, peaceful walk.
Have a lovely weekend.
All the best Jan
I LOVE the smell of honeysuckle...used to sit on our porch at home and smell it. I LOVE all your pics...
Honeysuckle smells almost as good as Lilacs to me. Does it grow wild where you live?
Hi Happyone, Neat pictures as always. It sounds like your walk was very similar to mine this morning with the exception of yours being a good bit longer. Yesterday I did a really fast pace for about 1 mile. This morning I could feel it in the legs. So I went a little slower today. My goal is to improve my pace but I'm going to do it a little at a time. Have a happy weekend ahead!
Just like John over at John's Island, you find beauty even in rainy and cloudy weather.
Have a great weekend.
Honeysuckle brings back some memories from my youth. Looks like a beautiful route for walking today!
Nice stream
Beautiful honeysuckle. Great idea giving the blankets and invitations to the hospital.
God bless.
Hello,
Your views and scenes are so pretty while walking. I know I have said this before, but you have a lovely area for your walking. I love the scent of honeysuckle. Enjoy your day and weekend!
HI Karen. Everything in nature there looks very lush and green with lots of water flowing in the stream- it all looks beautiful. It is getting dry here as we head into 95% of our State being declared as being in drought- we're hoping for rain next Thursday- hopefully it will fall where it is most needed. In the city we're going into Water Restrictions yet again- I just wish our State Government would wake up and build another dam for Sydney and the Metro Region. Regards. KEV.
Oh the answer to Joyful’s question leads to another question: Do you have people/families come to church based on that invitation? How cool that the invitation is presented with such a nice gift for the new baby.
Goodness it is cool and it seems that we are many weeks behind. Still cooler weather (not windy) is great for walking.
The water draws my eye!
