Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

An easy day

54 degrees this morning and cloudy.
Took this picture at the bottom of my driveway just starting out on my walk.
I walked through that cloud down below.
Went to town this morning and put the water bill down the slot at
public works.  Thought we'd be done paying water bills by this time.
Still no offers on the house!

Walked on over to the ball park and went around the loop and then
over to the lower cemetery and walked around there.
Passing by the town pond I saw 4 fishermen.
Then headed out of town and back home.

Saw a few wild turkeys.
This little rabbit on the side of the road.
And a deer in hiding.
Can you spot her?
I was just about home when Ken passed me in the car.
He was off to a train show down in Cumberland with a friend.
Right after he passed I felt the first rain drops.
Made it home just in time.
Walked 6 miles
👟     👟
Got a couple of chores done this morning around the house.
Walked around Happy Trails.
Read
Knitted
A nice easy relaxing day.

That's it for now.
Hope you made your day a happy one.

I almost missed the rabbit, but found the deer. Wonder if they have photos of you at their houses. 🤓 As regards the house...The Lord knows just what you need and He will be right on time.

My day was pleasant...sewed a bit...made a mess...fixed a nice meal for myself...am watching Christian tv...going to bed early...😁

Hi Happyone, Neat photos! In that first photo ... so cool the way you said, I walked through that cloud down below. Hope Ken enjoyed the railroad show ... those things make my day. Have a great rest of the weekend! John

The right people will come along at the right time for the house. I loved the photos from your walk, you're in a photogenic part of the world. (Can places be called photogenic?)
