Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Rain to Sun

Sunset last night
A foggy, rainy walk this morning and 39 degrees
with a bit of wind thrown in there too.
Walked down to the main road and half way up the road to town.
Big trucks spraying water as they passed made me decide
to turn around and head back.
Walked up the lane before going home.
Didn't see any people or animals.
🌧     🌬     🌫
First thing this morning got the second and last batch of
Chocolate Chippers baked for the Sunday school kids.

Had quite a few weave-it squares done on the baby blanket
I'm making and got them all sewed together.
Half finished now.

The puzzle we are working on now is a 1000 piece one and
it is of an old toy store.

After such a gloomy start to the day in the afternoon
the sun came out and it was a beautiful sunny day.
Hope your day was a happy one.

39 is kind of warm for your area.

Gotta love a day that turns out well after all. Those Sunday School children are sure blessed to have homemade cookies every week and your Chippers are especially good.

That second shot is quite moody.

That spray from the trucks can be brutal! Glad the sun came out for you!
