This morning was the same as yesterday with snow and wind
but a little colder at 12 degrees.
So it was another day for walking in the basement.
Today was my book club meeting and I was wondering if it would be
cancelled because of the snow.
Checked if school was closed because that is usually what determines
if the meeting will be cancelled.
School was on a two hour delay so went to the library.
Ken dropped me off and then went to get some more work done
at the old house.
A couple of snowy pictures driving to town.
☃️ ☃️ ☃️
Turned out that the book club meeting was cancelled after all.
I stayed at the library anyway.
Got a couple more books checked out and starting reading one of them
until Ken came to pick me up.
I already had 2 library books
at home but just couldn't help myself.
Picked up an audio book and thought I'd listen to it while I knit.
When I was told that the book club meeting was cancelled
Kim, one of the librarians offered to drive me home.
Wasn't that so nice!!?
You won't find that happening in a big town!!
Told her thanks but Ken would be coming to get me.
Back home this afternoon I finished the latest puzzle of
the toy store. (1000 pieces)
Then I worked on the counted cross stitch project I'm making for a friend.
Don't have enough done on it yet to post a picture but will one of these days.
It is of her favorite quote.
Using a simple back stitch for the words and then will do some kind
of border around it.
That's it for today.
Hope yours was a good one.

...it looks the same here, the drive was plowed twice today. That looks like a hard puzzel to me.
That puzzle has a lot going on! But I like it. Love those snowy shots, too.
Wonderfully moody shots.
It sure looks like 12 degrees there. Sure is pretty though. We had cold windy day here today, but no snow.
I bet you have enough snow for a army of snowmen.
That puzzle is amazing, Karen! And, yes, it was very nice of one of the women at the library offer to take you home. One of the perks of small town life. :)
That's a great puzzle, with so many different colours and all the detail.
That sure does look like wrapping up warm weather. We haven't had any snow yet but it is forecast for the end of next week
It is also freezing over here - still no snow.
God bless.
That Puzzle Looks Great! Not sure if I had mentioned this book series to you or not (you may have read them already) - Charles Todd is the author (mother and son duo) - The Ian Rutledge series. They also have a Bess Crawford series that is good.
A nice calm post. :) It reminds me to cherish the day.
Lovely snowy scenes.
Nothing like a fresh blanket of the white stuff!
That puzzle looks like fun!
Still no snow for us yet … but I'm not complaining!
Like the puzzle.
All the best Jan
