Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Slow progress on the puzzle

When I got up this morning it was raining and dark.
Was going to wait until light to walk but got tired of waiting
so did loops in the basement.
It continued to rain during the morning.
Time for an oil change in the truck so Ken dropped it in for service
and I followed in the car.
Mid morning it looked like it was clearing up
and for a brief moment I saw blue sky.
but that didn't last long and soon it was raining again.

A day around the house puttering about.
Straightened up the pantry and rearranged some items.

Had cuttings from my philodendron plant that were sitting in water
which had gotten some pretty big roots.
Planted them in dirt in a pot and then cut some more shoots from
the original plant and put them in water.

Worked a couple of hours on the train jigsaw puzzle sitting out on the
dining room table.  This one is a bit of a challenge but we are making
some slow progress on it.

Went out to Brenda's for pizza night and just before we left
it started snowing.  Not supposed to get any accumulation but
will have to see what the morning brings.

Hope your day was a good one and you smiled often.
happyone  😊

No snow here...yet. :)

I always enjoy a day at home. That "forced to be inside" feeling can be a nice break from the world. I did smile often, hope you did too.

Enjoy working on that puzzle. I'm looking forward to starting one after Christmas. I just don't have room for it anywhere before that.

We won't get snow for quite some time, but rain has been a thorn in my side in my painting project outside.

We've had damp, overcast conditions yesterday and today.

I hope it's nice tomorrow. We had a little shower this evening and it's supposed to be cooler tomorrow. I may wait and hike in the afternoon. Wish you could go with me! The time would fly! Hugs!

Your pictures are awesome! Winter scenes are quite wonderful when the branches are bare and one can see so far...

The train in the jigsaw puzzle will be late reaching its destination. We are sorry for the inconvenience to our passengers.

God bless.

We sometimes do jigsaw puzzles since we retired. 550 pieces is our limit, and that takes several days of on and off again work. A 300 piece puzzle we can do in a few hours usually.

We've been having rain here, too. I pulled out some puzzles for the season.
