Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

My camera died....

so I am now taking pictures with my phone.
I loved my little point and shoot camera and will miss it.
Don't usually take pictures with my phone and it seems awkward
but I'm sure I'll get used to it in a few days.

58 degrees when I walked this morning and it was raining
so took along my umbrella.
Here's a phone picture along the ball park loop.
Had my usual walk around town.
I was going to cut my walk a bit short because I was getting wet
but ended up walking all 6 miles anyway.
🌧     🌧     🌧
Took some pictures off the wall in the TV room and we
could see how much the paint had faded so now we have to paint
that room too.
Ken filled in the nail holes and we will paint tomorrow.

Washed some windows and decided which curtains I was going to
leave when we sell the house.
Since we've taken so much stuff to the new house this house
now looks so plain with all my stuff not sitting around.

The rain stopped but we didn't see any sunshine.
I went outside and took a few pictures of the flowers that
are starting to bloom.
Here are the two that came out the best.
I think they came out pretty good with my phone.
The first cone flower to bloom with its very own fly.
These yellow primroses were given to me last year.
They have taken off and are spreading.
That's it for today.
I'm overdue for my ice cream.

Life is Good
Hope your day was a happy one.

You got some really nice pics with your phone. I took one with mine today too. I guess that's where we're headed! Hope you get another little camera like the one you like though. Hugs!

I haven't used a real camera in a long time. My new phone has better quality than the one I got a few years ago.

I can never work out my phone. Whenever it rings I press the wrong button and take a photo of my ear.

God bless.

Hello, pretty flowers. Some phone cameras are better than regular cameras. Have a happy day!

That's a shame about your camera. Your phone picture are bright and clear. I'd be lost without my camera especially as my dumb phone doesn't take photos.

You did get some lovely shots with your phone! It is not my favorite go-to device to take pics with but it's great a to have a good camera on your phone. I still have and use (some) my little Sony Cyber Shot point & shoot even though it's getting raggedy...still takes the best close-ups on the macro setting. I hate to think about all of the painting that is ahead of me....UGH!

Too bad about your camera but your phone seems to take good pictures too.

My neighbour has Evening Primroses which look like the ones you have. They spread very fast!!
