Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunny day and lists

Over night we got about an inch or so of snow.
This morning it was 22 degrees, and the sky looked like it was clearing
and I could see the sun through the clouds.
The sun disappeared for a little while and there were some snow
flurries around as I walked all over town up and down all the roads.
It wasn't long before the flurries stopped and I watched the
sun and blue sky appear.

A few geese by the town pond.
Again didn't see anyone else walking but there were lots of people
going in the bakery and leaving with boxes I'm sure were filled with donuts.

By the time I walked back home the sun was shining.
Sure nice to be walking in the sunshine.
Walked 6 miles

Did my every day chores for the day and finished up the house cleaning.
I have been making a list (a reasonable list that I can get done)
in the morning of the things I want to do that day.
The list is on my phone and I like checking off the things as I do them.
I don't just put work things to do on the list but fun things as well.
It's been working out quite good.

I am reading quite a few authors who write their books in series.
I have scraps of paper here and there with the different authors
and the list of their books.
Today I collected all the scraps of paper and have written everything
  down in a notebook.
Now it is all nice and orderly.

Made pizza dough and Ken is making the pizza now as I type this.

It's been a chilly day in the 20's but so nice having
the sun shine all day.
We all got a good dose of vitamin D today here in western Maryland.
😊

Count your blessings and have a happy day.

Sunshine just makes a huge difference, doesn't it?
Sounds like a good day.

We enjoyed a nice sunny day in my part of the UK today ... so good to be out walking. Unfortunately they forecast snow again for the weekend and very cold temperatures!

All the best Jan

Blue skies and sunshine make that snow look extra pretty.

Your beautiful photos often make my day. So glad you got to walk a full walk today. Happy weekend.

The sun shining did make it look as if it was much warmer outside than what it really was, but it was good to see the sun. We had a good bit of wind today, too, and that was what made it seem really cold.

I love to make lists, but I always tend to make them out for more than I could possibly do in a day. So I am working on that.

It's a beautiful day and it sounds like you had a great time walking, cleaning, organizing. May the days ahead bring you more sunshine.
