Walked my usual 6 miles this morning. It was 34 degrees, very still
and a bit hazy. The sun did come out for a bit but for the most part
it stayed cloudy.
Started out walking on the roads behind my house and then walked
all over town including both cemeteries and the ball park loop.
No other walkers about town but a lot of the geese have arrived
in town again. These are in the pond down by the Drane house.
Farmer Marvin stopped in his truck to say hi as I was coming out of one
of the cemeteries. Some of his fields are between the two cemeteries.
He came down to the barn to pick up his cattle trailer.
Told me he was on his way to Oakland to pick up 28 beef cattle.
As always it was great to start the day with a walk.

Ken was up at the house site today back filling around the house.
44 tons of stone was delivered, so he had lots of stone to move around
on his tractor. He enjoyed every moment.
I was home getting some chores down around the house.
Went through some books and cleared some out that I won't be
bringing to the new house.
The more things I go through and get rid of will be that much less
we'll have to move.
Our son David is still with us and is here on an extended visit.
Sure is nice having him around. 😊 We don't usually see him all the much.
All three of us went out to Ledo's for supper.
Time now to do a little reading.
A happy day to you.

Your walks always sound so nice to me. Always great to have a son around. Enjoy him while he is there.
...dreamy images.
How's the house coming along?
I like the pics...specially that first. And the quote...there is nothing quite like a good tight hug. I started to say from Lorelei but really from anyone you love.
that's a lot of stone
Stunning, stunning pictures.
Hello, love the early morning fog. Pretty scenes and photos. It is great having your son there for a visit. Enjoy your day and weekend!
Ahhhh. A man and his tractor! City folks just have no idea how close that bond can be, right? My brother just got a new (for him) one that cost him the price of what a company wanted to do the job he needed done. So he figures he got the tractor for free.
Those misty, foggy pictures are so beautiful.
Very atmospheric morning pictures. Nice for you to have a long visit from your son.
I'm with you on sorting through and getting rid of. Nice moody photos!
Coming along fine. Septic is in and the electric is hooked up to the house from the street. Ken is backfilling around the foundation. Ronnie is working on the stairs down to the basement.
Oh yes, Ken does like his tractor! 😊
Oh what a gorgeous morning for photos...these are stunning! I am looking forward to the first of the year...going to go through each room and get rid of things to de-clutter the house before we put it on the market in the spring. Such a good feeling!
Beautiful pictures. You have a good eye for photography.
