Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
~Groucho Marx

Bowling again

All the snow is gone today.
This picture was taken this morning in the same spot as the one on Sunday.
 Very windy this morning.
These next few days are the darkest ones and I look forward to
brighter mornings.
Had my usual walk around town.
๐ŸŽ…     ๐ŸŽ„
Had the surprise of opening the lid on the washing machine and realizing
that a couple of tissues got washed along with the clothes.

We haven't been bowling for quite a while and it was nice to get
back to it again this afternoon.
David is still here visiting and he went along with us.
 I had a good bowling day. ๐ŸŽณ
136
148
180
in that order.
It is always fun bowling but when you do good it is even more fun. ๐Ÿ˜Š

We usually go out for supper after bowling but I had planned on
making a chicken pot pie for supper so we just went home.
I'm glad we did because supper was delicious.

Hope your day was a happy one.

Comes to teach us how to find
The joy of giving happiness
And the joy of being kind."

  1. ...our snow disappeared over night, I haven't bowled in years and never scored as high as you!

  2. That sure was a quick change...but if there is like here, it really warmed up. I think one day we are supposed to have a 60 degree day.

Congrats on the good games...I also think it is better if you improve as you play rather than have a real good game and then go downhill:-)

  6. It's amazing that snow can come and go so fast! I've done the tissue thing and it always makes me smile (NOT!) LOL Gotta question. When you do your walks do you wear a pedometer or a fitness band? I'm thinking of getting a fitness band to keep track of steps.
