Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Looking up

🍁     🍃     🍂
When I start walking the stars are still out but by 7:00 it is starting
to get light.  It was 47 degrees and sunny.

Walked my usual work all around town.  Ran into Cathy walking around
the ball park loop and walked her route around the cemeteries with her.
Then when she left I finished my walk.
The Bakery/Deli finally looks like it is about to open.
Doesn't look big enough inside to be able to eat there so it probably
will just be take away.
Now they are making the parking lot bigger with parking out back.

Walked 6.2 miles
🍁     🍃     🍂
After breakfast and a few morning chores we headed up to HT
again to see what was being done on the house.
The floor joists were being put in.
 From inside
We stayed till lunch time and then went back home.
Did a good cleaning of the living room including washing the big picture window
 and moved everything around.

Went back up to HT at the end of the day.
When we got there the heating man was there and they were figuring
out all what was needed and where to put the heating ducts.

The floor joists at the end of the day with the boards along all the edges
of the joists were in.  Don't know what those boards are called.
The opening in the joists is where the stairs will be.
After supper I made something called Blueberry Pancake Cake
and we will have that for breakfast tomorrow.
I'll let you know how it tastes.

That's it for today.
Looking forward to a relaxing evening.

Hope your day was a happy one. 🎈

Well, Sweetie, yours is burning bright! What a gorgeous day there and you sure accomplished a lot! watching the house go up is fun. (Wish that my daughter’s was going up as quickly...slower than cold molasses running uphill in January.) Say “hey” to Ken!

I love the sky shot and your home is taking shape nicely.
A new bakery sounds inviting as do your blueberry pancakes.
Have a wonderful Wednesday :)

Isn't it interesting to see how a house is built, having built a home, your looks like it is being built very well! When the builder put the walls up in our home, I would go over every day and sweep the floor and between the walls, when the insulation guy who installed the insulation told me he had never seen wall space so clean, I also took photos of the skeleton so I would know where the wires and plumbing were, just incase I needed it some day, not realizing I would when we had a leak in the wall. ~smile~ Always love your photos. Thank you for sharing.
Blessings,
Sue
