🍃 🍁 🍂
This morning the temperature was 60 degrees and when the sun came up
there was a mix of sun and clouds.
Had one of my random walks all over the place.
While walking around one of the cemeteries there was a man putting
flowers on a grave and we got to talking.
Every once in a while he stops and puts flowers on a grave of his
friends daughters grave. She died back in 2003 when she was just
12 years old. His friends have moved away so he puts the flowers
on her grave for them and then takes a picture and sends it to them.
Most days people who see me walking all the time will toot the horn
and wave as they pass me. Today they all must have been out because
I was waving to people all over the place. 👋
Walked 6.4 miles

Ken up at HT building site this morning when I got back walking.
That seems to be his new routine.
Me at home in the morning doing laundry and other chores.
Weather has been nice for hanging the wash out.
Today it's the sheets.
Ken came home for lunch and we didn't go back
because it was bowling day. 🎳
There were 7 of us bowling today.
Not one of my better bowling days,
116, 112, and 132 in that order but as always it was fun.

After bowling we went out for supper again, this time to Ledo's.
Leaving Ledo's we drove directly up to the building site to see the
progress for today.
Took these pictures.

Debbie - move in date for the new house they say February, BUT it all depends on the weather. Hoping to have it roofed by the time the snow comes. Then they will be able to work inside.
The pictures on my blog are NOT taken with my phone but with my little point and shoot camera - Nikon Coolpix S7000.

...nice to see things popping out of the ground.
It is so exciting to see your new home take shape.
that's about what I score
What a kind thing for the man to do for his friends, to visit the grave and place flowers.
Loved your first photo! So nice that the kind man cares for the little girls grave.
Have a beautiful day :)
That is a sweet gesture for the man's friends. How nice that you were greeted by so many on your walk. Like the look of those walls going up!
It must be exciting to see such good progress on your house. Will the whole building be blockwork (which is usual in the UK) or will some of it be timber framed?
How sweet for that man to put flowers on his friend's daughter's grave. Your little town seems so friendly.
The lot that your soon-to-be home sits on looks very pretty.
12...heartbreaking...
You probably know about this:
A new state park in western Maryland!

😀
Well, your P&S takes great pics. Making good progress on the house....and February will be before we know it!
That's sweet that he remembers his friends' daughter. But how sad.
They sure are moving along! I meant to comment on a photo about 4 or 5 posts...the one with the horses in the fog. That was such an awesome capture!
