Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A mini sunflower

⛅     ⛅
This morning there was a mix of sun and clouds and some of the clouds were so low
I walked through them and it was 55 degrees.

Started around the ball park loop and then through town,
down toward Happy Trails, back through town and around both cemeteries.

Met up with Kathy while walking around one of the cemeteries
and walked both of them with her.

Lee was out riding his bike and he gave me my usual 2 mints.
Told him a yard sale was getting set up the edge of town and he gave
me another one for a bonus.  He always checks out all the yard sales.

Walked 6.2 miles

Pancake breakfast for us today.
Then I made some banana nut muffins with a couple of very brown bananas. 🍌

A nice sunny day for getting some laundry done and I got two loads
out on the lines.

Made some more cucumber salad with still more cucumbers from my garden
to bring to a BBQ that we were invited to this afternoon.

This little sunflower decided to take root in the rocks of the water feature.
It is such a cute little thing.  🌻
Ground breaking day for the new house was supposed to be last week but it got cancelled and now tomorrow is the day.

 Off now to the BBQ.
A happy day to you.

I am always amazed by a little flower surviving in a pile of rocks.
