Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Walk, bowing, and eating

🌽     🌽
55 degrees this morning when I started out on my walk.
The sun was shining and it was a beautiful summer morning.
Headed out around the Farm Loop this morning.
Saw the couple once again that I saw a while ago walking around the FL.
We talked a bit and the reason we don't see each other is that they go around
a different loop and we just have one part of the Farm Loop in common.

A couple more pictures I took walking the FL today.

Once I got back to town I walked around one of the cemeteries a
couple of times and then back home.

Another quiet morning around town.
Walked 6 miles
Coins found during the month of July
2 dimes, 4 pennies

Started the first day of August finding the first coin of the month, a penny.
🌽     🌽
Left after lunch to do a few errands and then met up the
bowling alley with some friends.  5 of us bowled today.
My scores were 140, 116, and 141, in that order.
I don't know how that 116 sneaked in there!!  😊

Afterward we all went out for supper at a local restaurant.
I had Chesapeake Mac and Cheese which has shrimp and Old Bay Seasoning in it,
which was very good.  Ate half and took the other half home.

And so ends another day.
A happy day to you.

Love the mist of the morning in a couple of these! So peaceful.

Does that morning mist mean humidity? (We have had perfect days with sunny days and low humidity until this week...back to humid days.) Going back to see all I have missed...too much!

More beautiful pictures this evening! Sounds as if you had a full day today, but a nice one. The fellowship at the bowling alley and then going out to eat together probably made it a very good day. :) By the way, your Chesapeake Mac and Cheese sounds SO good! :) Great way to start off a new month...finding a coin!
