49 degrees and sunny this morning when I left on my walk. It warmed up
nicely though and was in the high 60's and sunny all day long.
I walked behind my house first and then walked through town and
down the main road to the turn off to HT and turned right.
At the turn is Harry's house and he has a bunch of cute bird houses in his front yard.
Walked to the next turn which leads up to HT along this road here.
A little over a half mile up the road is where our house will be.
I could have walked there but didn't feel like walking up the BIG hill.
Turned around where I took the picture and walked back to town,
a loop around both cemeteries and home.
No one else out walking which was surprising because it was so nice out.
Walked 6.5 miles

Hung a load of laundry out on the line and filled the bird feeders.
Then decided to give my car a wash
The lawn isn't soggy anymore so I got the lawn mowed today.
After lunch I went back outside and weeded the garden in front of the house
and then planted some petunias and marigolds.
Walked over to the library to pick up a book I had on hold,
the next Anne Perry book in the Charlotte and Pitt series, The Hyde Park Headsman.
While I was there saw this notice posted on the library door.
Thought it was a great idea so joined up.
I like to color but don't do it all that much. This will be a good opportunity.
Sign says 3rd Wed and they are going to have it the first Wed too.
When I got back home I sat out on the porch and started by book.
Still reading The Devil in the White City, book club book,
but need a break from it as it has become a bit boring.
That's been my day.

...you did a bit of everything today.
Love the way the light shines in your first photograph.
Your car looks great - mine could do with a wash - perhaps tomorrow!
Happy June Wishes
All the best Jan
What a fun car to zip around in. You filled your day so nicely.
Some of my book clubbers thought that book was sort of boring, too. I couldn't put it down and I think it was because of the vision the men had for their city. I found that time period fascinating. The murder part wasn't as compelling to me. I loved the planning of the World's Fair.
Lovely views from around your town! I smile every time I think of you living in Accident!
Do you know how the town got its name?
dang that's a nice car
I have heard that when people color together, they can have better conversation because there is no focus on eye contact. Seems eye contact is very unsettling to lots of folks. It was suggested that this works very well with children, too. Hmmm...it will be interesting to hear what you say about it.
Gorgeous flowers, lovely road to walk, and a very cool car. Life is good, indeed.
A nice sunny day to be out no doubt. Warm greetings!
Those are some cute birdhouses! Love the first and third photo, and of course I like your car!
The sunshine hitting those little flowers, in the first pictures amazing.
What a nice collection of birdhouses! Enjoy your colouring in!!!
Hello, pretty images from your walk. I like all those cute birdhouses. The coloring sounds like fun. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
Loving those birdhouses, what a cute idea. Sounds a very productive day xx
Your first photo is so peaceful. What a pretty sight to see in the early morning (or any time).
Your car looks sparkly clean and I like the flag in the background.
Anxious to hear how you enjoy your coloring time at the library.
Just pretty walks you have! I saw your response to Betty's comment - I didn't think about Ken's trains. He will have a place to display them in your new home, won't he?
Love the light in the first picture. I saw a notice for a colouring group in our library too the last time I went there. They also have a table set up with a jigsaw puzzle in progress for anyone to spend some time doing.
Peter has just seen your car and is sighing with longing!
He has an entire bird neighborhood! Are there residents?
Your car is really stunning! I love the idea of adults coloring together in the evening at the library. Someone should read a book aloud as you color - that would be wonderfully relaxing.
