Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Dropping off and picking up

These flowers are in my garden and are some kind of daisy
but I can't remember what.  Just planted them last week.
🌾     🌾
It was a cloudy morning for my walk today and 51 degrees.
I left a little early because we were leaving the house at 8:30 and
wanted to get my full walk in.

Walked through town, up Barn Sale, down toward HT, back to town,
around both cemeteries a couple of time sand the ball park loop
and back home.

Another quiet morning and didn't see any one else out walking or running.
A few of the regulars who pass me in cars gave a little toot.

Walked 6 miles
🌾     🌾
We left right on time after breakfast in the truck with the church trailer
and went to PA to drop off some finished Romans books that have been assembled
and picked up another pallet which we will be working on this week.
Brought them right to church and unloaded everything and got things set
up and ready for work.

Then on the way back home we stopped in Shop and Save and picked
up a new supply of ice cream which was on sale again. 4 for $10, we got 8.
That should last us a while.

Back home at 4:00 and now after supper we are home for the evening
for a nice relaxing end of the day.

Life is Good
A happy day to you.

Debby - The sink at the cabin is an old one and Ken got it at the auction he goes to on Friday mornings.  The price?  $2.  Can't beat that!!

I always like reading about your daily doings. Always comfort in routine.

...your flowers look like coreopsis. You have enough for an ice cream social.

Now I am just plain curious (or perhaps just plain nosy) about the flavors of those 8 ice cream containers :). Hard to pass up a deal like that.
Your yellow flowers are so pretty and cheerful.

No way!! That was an unbelievable bargain in that sink. I doubt seriously if I would ever find a deal like that! Thanks for your reply :)

Your flowers are so happy, and they make me happy, too! It was downright chilly here this morning, and windy. Can't beat an ice cream sale!

I'm responding to this on Friday. Great job on the scriptures! You and Ken have made a huge contribution to that project! More power to you
