Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

End of my blog break

Linking up with Tom for the Barn Collective Series and ending my blog break.
This barn is along the Farm Loop that I walk and took the picture this past Saturday.
🌸     🌸     🌸
Nice having a bit of a blog break but glad to be back blogging again.

I have still been taking my morning walks around town
and the weather has still been up and down.
Some days I walked in the rain.
Some days in the sun.
and yes a couple of days in the snow too.
Farm Loop
Friday it snowed and I'm pretty sure it will be the last of the season.
We usually do get that last snow in April so it didn't come as a surprise.

Today I walked around town and it was a beautiful sunny morning
in the high 40's.  Really Nice!

Saw a new walker but didn't get near enough to say hi, maybe tomorrow.

Caroline who works at the Day Care in town was just arriving and having
trouble with her seat belt that got twisted somehow and between the
two of us we got it straightened out.  😊

I'm thinking from here on out now the mornings will all be great walking
ones.  The mornings have gotten lighter too and I no longer have
to walk in the dark.

Walked 6.3 miles
 ðŸŒ¸     🌸     🌸
Lots of birds have been visiting my backyard during the past week
and I've taken quite a few pictures.
The snowy ones were taken on Saturday.

Hung a feeder right outside my kitchen window and now I get to watch
birds up close.  Nice to watch them when I'm doing the dishes.

Weather is nice to be outside working in the yard and
I plan on doing some of that in just a little while.

Nice to be back.
Will be around to visit you later in the day.

A happy day to you.

A little fresh air would be good for you just now. The weather is lovely; and a little stroll in the park will bring the colour back to your cheeks. ~J. Palgrave Simpson, For Ever and Never, 1884

...spring is an up and down affair. Your snowy barn scene is great, but I'm more than happy to be moving on to greener pastures. Thanks for stopping by, please stop back again.

Glad to see you back....

I see someone told you about Anne Perry...I debated about it. I have not read the book, but I do want to one of these days.

I love your barn/farm shot. And I really enjoyed seeing your birds.

Have you ever worked puzzles at jigzone.com or jigsawplanet.com....

Nice to have you back! I can't believe that it snowed again. I hope it doesn't do that here because we still have more than enough. If the temps in the 70s hold, I don't see how it can last too much longer. I love that birdfeeder right outside your kitchen window...what a good view of your feathered friends. I see that you read up on the author. Yes, fascinating and sad and redemptive all in one.

Welcome back, Happy-K. glad to see you are still walking a lot, and also enjoying the birds. For next year, you might want to check out the Feeder Watch project with the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology. I did it this year for the very first time, and it is enjoyable and useful to society. Nice photo of the red-bellied woodpecker. Art

I love seeing all of the birds and there certainly a was good variety! Most people aren't partial to the starlings but I do love their deep iridescent colorations! Happy Easter week to you!
