Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Icy post

You all get a break from my usual post with
a different kind of post here today.
Just some icy pictures that I took Sunday afternoon on my walk.
It was cold but the sky was blue and sun was shining.

Started snowing last night and has been all day.

A happy day to you.

"I am thankful for the silence of winter mornings,
for the beauty and wonder of the glint of sunlight in frost melting dew,
for the early-riser's special solitude that sets a mood of
thankfulness, hope, and calm for the dawning day."

Amazing photo's of all the ice Karen.

We've had a beautiful Spring like day in my part of the UK, but our news bulletins keep talking about the snow that will affect parts of the USA - hope you will be ok

Take care and enjoy the rest of the week

All the best Jan

Great photos Karen! We are having the same weather as you are.
We did manage to slip out for a walk during a break in the storm.
Take care.

I haven't seen icicles like that since I lived in Michigan. It's cold here today, but no ice in sight. Pretty pictures.

What a winter . . . will it ever go to bed and let Spring wake up and take over?
