Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.

Bible Verse for March

This month the Bible verse that our church will be memorizing is:
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life,
of whom shall I be afraid.

This is one I already know and one of my favorites.
I seem to say that about a lot of verses!!  😊

A blessed Sunday to you all my friends.
Jesus Loves You.

Christine - Yes, yesterday's walk did take about 2 1/2 hours.  I walk a little bit slower in my snow sneakers and ice grippers than in my regular walking shoes and I stopped by the pond for a little while.

Vee - Might have gotten a bit carried away yesterday. 😊

 BettyC - So nice to see a picture of you.  😊  I have a ski mask that I wear on really cold days.  I wear it 3 different ways, down around my neck, over my chin, and on very cold days with a wind I wear it up all the way like in the picture.

  1. It looks mighty cold there! That is one of my favorite Bible verses too. And like you, I am always saying that about other verses.

  5. It takes a lot of get-up-and-go to get out there when you need an outfit like that to keep warm. I admire your stamina.

  8. Hi Karen, thanks for sharing the Psalm.
    I like your mask you wear when it is cold . Good idea!
    I hope you won't have to be wearing it again this winter!
