Once again we have a snowy day here at the most
northern, western part in the state of Maryland.
A cold, windy, snowy morning and not a good morning for taking a walk,
so getting most of my steps today in the house.
BUT
later in the morning when it was 12 degrees Ken and I bundled up
and went outside in the snow.
Ken had the snow blower going clearing off the driveway
and I shoveled a bit where the snow blower can't go.
Also cleared off the snow by the bird feeder fence and put
a bunch of seed out.
Walked around the yard in the snow and Ken snapped a couple pictures of me.
I just had to make a snow angel.
We really did run out of milk and bread so we drove up to the Shop
and Save in McHenry to get some. Took the picture through the windshield.
While we were in town decided to have lunch at Burger King
and went through the drive through.
Then home to a nice warm cozy house.
Finished reading The Brutal Telling by Louise Penny.
I liked it as I do all the Chief Inspector Gamache books.
Did something with an old window and will tell you more about that tomorrow.
I had some soup that I had made awhile ago in the freezer and
we had that for supper.
Hope your day was a happy one whether you are having
spring or winter today. 😊 🌻 ⛄

...ah, life in a snow globe.
We, like you, are still having winter today. :) Our snow finally stopped at around noon or so...at about 8 inches. Your snow angel is so pretty.
Have a wonderful evening.
I love your snow angel! So sweet!
That is some serious snow!
Your snow angel is brilliant.
What a good idea to have soup - glad you already had some ready in the freezer.
All the best Jan
Ha ha! Love your coat and your snow angel! We enjoy listening to Inspector Gamache mysteries when we drive the 6 hours to our son's. 12 hours total on the car and we can almost finish one of the books.
That really does look like a lot of snow! We're down to a couple of inches.
The snow is beautiful. Way to go, make tat snow angel!
Lovely quote from Wordsworth! Awesome to see your snow angel--it made me smile! I admire you for getting out there and enjoying the snow. I just want it to melt... ;)
Hi Karen, looks like you really got hit! I think you received a bit more then we did.
Here's hoping it melts for all of us soon!
Hello, I like Tom's reply about the snow globe. Very pretty snowy scenes. I love the snow angel. Have a happy day!
Wow! Perfect snow angel!
Beautiful snow angel! If you had dressed in white in those photos, you would have virtually disappeared! Definitely a day to get your steps inside. Have a good day today.
I loved your snow angel! But that is a serious amount of snow and its supposed to be spring!!!
Glad you had a safe journey as you roads look bad.

I haven't made a snow angel in a long time
I have mixed feelings about all the snow you got...I love it but don't want it at this point in life. BUT, if I looked out and we were getting hit with it, I couldn't help but be a bit excited.
