Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Velvet Pancakes

🐄     🐄     🐄     🐄

39 degrees this morning just like yesterday.  The sun didn't come over the mountain till I had walked just about 5 miles.  There was a bit of a breeze too.

Went first to the post office and slipped a few things down the mail slot.

Then continued my walk mostly around town.  Walked a little ways up Sale Barn and down toward happy trails.  Went around one of the cemeteries and the ball park loop too.

Saw the skunk again and a couple of rabbits.
Pretty quiet around town.

Walked 6.2 miles

We left right after breakfast for Duncansville, PA where we went to pick up a pallet load of scriptures for the Fingerprint Ministry at our church.
It was a beautiful sunny day and perfect for riding along looking
at the beautiful fall colors.
It's about a 2 hour ride one way.
Dropped off the load at our church before coming home.

Didn't feel like cooking so we went to iHop for supper.
I got the Velvet Pancakes for the first time.
They were delicious and it was not really supper but dessert!
I ate half of them and plan on eating the other two later
for my snack adding a scoop of ice cream to them.

That's all for today.
A happy day to you.

Yes, they do look good. Are they like red velvet cake?
Sounds like a nice day for you two.
