Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A Sunday

⛪     ⛪     ⛪     ⛪
For where two or three gather in my name,
there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew 18:20

I look forward to Sundays.
A typical Sunday
for me starts like any other day with going for a morning walk.

After breakfast we set out for church.
Sunday school is first and right now we are studying the book of I Corinthians.
After Sunday school in the fellowship hall there is coffee, donuts, and fruit.
Its also a time for meeting with friends and talking to one another.

Then it's time for the morning worship service.

After church most times we will stop and have lunch somewhere on the way home.
Nice to have a salad at Brenda's but sometimes we do just go home.

Our Sunday afternoon is a time for relaxing.
Sometimes
Reading 📖
Sitting on the porch
Knitting (me)
Walking around up at Happy Trails
Having a little nap (Ken) 💤
Writing a blog post
We have supper and afterward
go back to church for the evening worship service.
We have just started studying the book of Ecclesiastes which I am really enjoying.

Then home for
my ice cream snack.
🍨
Sunday is a happy day.
What's a typical Sunday for you?

A blessed Sunday to you all.
Jesus loves you.

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend the day. Our church doesn't have evening services so once I'm home, that's it. Relaxing.

Hello, your Sunday sounds nice. Sunday is a happy day, but then all the days are happy. Enjoy your day and the week ahead!

Today was busy because the grands had to be bathed and packed early so we could have a few adventures before it was time to drive north to meet their parents.
I'm glad the ice cream supply is replenished!

SONday is a happy day for us, too. I don't walk on SONday mornings, but we go to SS, then have the worship service. We are going back in the evenings for a study of I Peter, which we're both really enjoying. HOPE you have a great week.

Your Sunday sounds perfect. For me it's church service in the morning. We don't have evening services,so the rest of the day is most often spent relaxing or perhaps going on a photo outing.

Sunday around here is different each week. Always a long walk first thing then a leisurely breakfast. Then it is anything goes! Gardening, painting, visiting with friends……
Your Sunday sounds lovely. Have a good week.

Pretty church steeple!
I teach Sunday School to 11 y.olds at 10.30 and then our first service is at 11.30 and we are studying the life if the prophet Elisha. We go home for a traditional Sunday roast dinner. Then we visit my in laws before our evening service after which we might visit my parents.
Have a good week!

I love Sundays also... We go to early service and usually usher or read scripture during the service... No Sunday School at our little Episcopal Church... We then usually go to Walmart for groceries and then to Zaxby's for one of their delicious Grilled Chicken Salads for lunch... Come home and do whatever we want or what is needed... Yesterday --I watched football and then worked on my blog post for today.

Hugs,
Betsy

You have a well-spent Sunday...keep it that way. In this modern times, the churchgoers are getting smaller while cinemas are always full.

God's words give wisdom. Have a blessed one!
