Celery update

Sorry about the wires.

Standing in the soy bean field of Farmer Marvin
This morning the temperature was back to normal at 62 degrees.  The sun came out and there were a few clouds in the sky.  That nice cool breeze was blowing around too.

I walked all over town this morning up and down all the roads and around the cemeteries and the ball park loop.

Lee came by on his bike again and I got another couple of mints. : )  Kathy was walking around too and she asked me how I liked that peach.  Told her it was a thumbs up.  That peach gave us days of talking. : )

Saw a couple of blue birds and swallows up at one of the cemeteries and the cutest little rabbit.  It sure was a tiny one.

Walked 6.3 miles.

Kenny has been driving the bus for Bible Time this week so I went bowling on my own today and met the others there.  There were six of us.  I almost didn't go because it was such a nice day out and I thought I'd get some more outside work done but then thought I needed a bit of a break.

Before I left I got the sheets washed and hung out on the line.  They were already dried before I left for bowling.

I like the bird feeders I have because they are made of glass and metal and they are easy to clean.  Got the two of them all washed up nice and filled them up with sunflower seeds.

My celery is growing nicely and I think it is just about time to plant it in soil.  What do you think Jan?
That's about it for today.
Hope your day was a happy one.

Hi Karen
Your celery is looking good and yes ... I think it is just about time to plant it in soil.
I'm really enjoying watching your celery grow!

Good wishes

All the best Jan

Love that barn! We had a wonderful cooler day in the 60's yesterday, but we're back to hot today. Your celery looks wonderful! I have never tried to grow it. Never see it in UT gardens, but yet I read that the pioneers use to have large celery farms.
hugs,
Jann

After many cool morning walks it was over 70 today as we headed out the door at 5:30. We are in for some very warm weather!
Lovely photo of the barn and deer.
Glad you are still feeding the birds too. Most people stop once the weather gets warmer. I enjoy watching the birds year round.

Ok i want to do a celery sprout now. It makes a pretty plant. I bet 62 degrees feels nice. We have been in the high 90's the past two months here in NC.

Hello, I love the barn shot and the pretty deer. I usually keep some feeders out for the birds, I enjoy watching them come closer. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

I like watching all the birds too. They sure go though a lot of seed though!

That is hot. Rarely does it get that hot here. Summer here is like one long spring.

I enjoy the birds too. It seems as if now they wait around the yard in the trees for me to put the seed out.
