Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A gazebo

I'd like one of these in my back yard. : )

A cloudy morning and 68 degrees with a nice breeze.  There was a peek of blue sky but it was quickly gone again.  Thought maybe it would rain but it didn't.  On a warm summer morning a rain shower can feel pretty nice. : )

I walked the Farm Loop.
Then walked around the industrial park too.
Didn't see anyone else walking but then I didn't walk around town.

 Walked 6.2 miles.

I took a picture of the little meadow in my yard the other day.  This morning before I came in the house from my walk I took a few close ups of some of the things that have popped up in the meadow so far.

Got another load of laundry hung out on the line and did a little more weeding.  This time by the front walk.  Once I get through with all the weeding it will be time to start over again. : )

We went up to Happy Trails again today and I got a little more rock crushed.  Have enough to make a start putting it on the path in the front garden.  Maybe tomorrow I can get some put down.

Now I'm off to do a little reading.
Hope your day was a happy one.

I had to smile at your comment "Once I get through with all the weeding it will be time to start over again. : )" ... that's the fun of gardening isn't it.

I do like the look of that gazebo

Enjoy the weekend ... it will be here soon

All the best Jan

Going to an auction in the morning.

I think so much nicer that just a green lawn, though I still have a lot of that too. Now if I had a gazebo it would take up more green grass. : )

I do love gazebos as well! Nothing like wildflowers popping up to brighten your day. Good for you to walk that many miles.

I guess I missed it...how/when did you start your meadow?

I'm sure Ken could build you a beautiful gazebo.
Your meadow will look gorgeous when all the wild flowers are established.
Have a great weekend :)

I really enjoy my morning walk so it is easy for me to do. : )

I guess about 6 weeks or so ago. I'm just not mowing a piece of the back yard where I have the bird feeders.

Yes, Ken could build a beautiful gazebo. He can put it on the list of projects after the cabin and patio are finished. : )
