Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Chocolate dipped

 ✿     ✿     ✿     ✿

Never got around to watering my plants yesterday but it was just as well as we got a good soaking rain during the night.  By morning the rain had stopped and it was 68 degrees this morning and cloudy.  Some blue sky was starting to come through the clouds as I got home.

No order to my walk this morning.  Just walked up and down all the streets in town wherever I felt like going at the time.

The man was out walking his two dogs again and I saw Kathy again too.  Someone stopped and asked for directions to Bubblebee Rd and I was happy to be able to tell them how to get there.

Everything was so fresh and green after the rain.
I walked 6.2 miles.

I missed Baby Blanket day last month being in NY so it was nice to get back to that today.  There were 8 of us there this morning.  While there I finished the weave-it blanket I've been working on.  Made a checker board pattern this time.
Last night we had ice cream cones for our snacks.  We thought we picked up regular cones but picked up these chocolate dipped ones by accident.  Glad to we did because they were really good.  I'd never seen them before.
I got a new garden tool.  It is a garden fork and I used to clear out two more squares for my garden.  Still have to get the dirt mixture mixed to put in them.  Meanwhile the plants are growing big in the little containers I grew the seeds in.
The day turned into a nice sunny beautiful spring day.
When I got tired of working in the yard, I sat on the porch reading while waiting for Ken to come home.

It has clouded up again and I can hear thunder so maybe it will rain again and give the plants another drink.
That's about it for today.
Hope yours was a happy one.

Such a pretty blanket. I like the checkerboard pattern. I like your raised garden beds.
We're having a rain storm right now and I just turned off the air because of lightening. I hope you are having a great day.
