Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Bowling

Can you spot the sliver of moon in the above picture?

30 degrees this morning at 7:10 when I left on my morning walk.  It has been quite a while since I was able to walk around the Farm Loop and it was so nice to be able to do it today.
It was a bit windy in the open areas of the Farm Loop but once the sun came out it was wonderful to feel the warm sun on my face.
Farmer Bill was just leaving in his car and stopped to say hi and we chatted a bit.
Walked around part of the industrial park too.
No animals about today and no other people out walking either.
I walked 5.8 miles.

This morning before we left for bowling we finished the puzzle.  It was a pretty easy one to do.
Well it was quite the bowling day for Ken.  He bowled a new personal high score of 215!!  He had 5 strikes in a row.  Didn't he do well!?  His other games were quite good too.  153, 155, 177 and 128.
We ended up bowling 5 games today.  My first game was a low 99 but then I did better with a 122, 146, 134, and 141.

Bowling took up the whole afternoon and now we're home for a relaxing evening.  I plan on doing some reading, making weave-it squares and of course eating some ice cream.

A happy day to you all.

Sounds like you had a very nice day :)
It's nice that you were able to get outside for your walk again.... it's always better than the treadmill; I think, anyway :)

Have a nice evening.

I always hate not breaking a 100 in a game of bowling

Looks like a fun puzzle, but not necessarily an easy one.

Fantastic scores for Ken. The excitement of five strikes in a row! You must have all been cheering like crazy.
