Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.

My Tuesday : )

Heading up to one of the cemeteries
☁     ☁     ☁     ☁
It warmed up this morning to walk outside but the plows are still out making the roads wider and only a few people shovel their sidewalks.  Seemed saver to walk in the basement.  Walked 3 miles first thing in the morning and the other 3 miles later in the day.

It was bowling day and this time there were only 4 of us.  One couple is in Florida for the winter and Trish and Bettye went to Florida to visit them.
Bowling scores today were, 143, 151 and 108.

After bowling we went food shopping at Walmart.  Had to get some more bird seed too.  We set the game camera up outside by the feeders and during the night we saw that the deer come and eat the bird seed.

Finished the latest jigsaw puzzle after supper.
Not starting another one until Sunday because we're having some people over Saturday for a Mexican Train game night.

Finished the latest weave-it baby blanket too.  Haven't picked out the colors for the next one yet.  I'll do that a little bit later.
I'm off to read some of my next book - it's a good one!!

Looking forward to my ice cream.  Last night I had plain vanilla but added some chocolate syrup.  Tonight I'm having chocolate chip mint.

Hope your day has been a happy one.

  3. What a beautiful picture of the snow! Is that a road?! I think you had more than we did here. It's nice to be on this side of the weekend!

  4. You caught the deer in the act! Love it! Poor little birds have no seed. You're getting to be quite the bowler. Mary Jo

  5. I live inside the city limits of my town, I think it's too urban to have deer run out of nowhere. Though you never know sometimes...

  6. Those game cameras are great! The deer thank you for your thoughtfulness.:) You've still a lot of snow. We had rain here all day, plus temps in high forties for a couple of days, so any evidence of snow is gone. Enjoy that ice cream!

  7. Hello, your snowy scene is pretty. I am glad it warmed up some. The birds and deer appreciate the food with all the snow and cold weather. The baby blanket is pretty.
    Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

  8. Your snow pictures are so pretty! Ice cream is my weakness. Last night I had chocolate and vanilla...Poppy had banana split. You probably never gain a pound with all the exercise you get...which is wonderful!

  9. Your snow photo is gorgeous. The baby blanket is lovely! Have you noticed any other birds at your feeders besides the crows? With our warm weather the last few days we hardly have any snow. Not good for the plants!

  10. I can see you have beautiful winter and snow, here some of the snow melted away the last couple of days. I hope you have a beautiful day.

  11. Interesting how you caught the deer in the act, I was surprised to see two deer standing near our waterfall a few weeks ago. They sampled one of the shrubs and moved along... before I could get the camera :). It is very unusual for us to see deer in our yard.
Another beautiful snow photo. The baby blanket is adorable!

  12. Durn deer... they've cleaned out our bird feeders a time or two also. We've started putting the feeders in the garage at night.

Such a pretty picture of the snowy lane.. thanks for sharing.
