Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Blue skies

Took this picture in the church parking lot this morning.
Can you spot the crow?  Off center to the left a bit.

Every month my church tries to memorize a Bible verse.  We say it at all the services for the month and by the end of the month, the hope is that we have memorized it.
The one for January is one I've learned a while back and is one of my life verses.

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength :
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.

A blessed Sunday to you all.
Jesus loves you.

Nellie:  No, things don't come to a standstill here when the snow comes.  It is just something people deal with living here.  There are not all that many roads to clear off up here! : )

Pastor reluctantly cancelled our morning and evening services. It's 3 P.M. and we've finally got our car out from under the snow. The neighbors helped a lot, but Rob did most of the work himself. I'm sure you're loving your heating system at home these days. Our furnace is running constantly!

Nice picture! We had a good soup lunch at church today, and ended up with enough soup for a week! And i found the crow.

Yeah, you wouldn't really notice the crow without pointing it out. He blends in well.
