Was out walking at 6:40 and stayed around town where it was lit by street lights.
Saw a couple of rabbits hopping around by one of the cemeteries. It's been a while since I've seen them.
Came across a big black cat with yellow eyes. Don't see many cats out except for the ones by the diary farm.
Walked 5.6 miles.

We met up with with Seniors at the Cornish Manor for lunch and had our Christmas get together. We ate good food (Fish and Chips for me and I brought half home), played a couple of games, and had an ornament exchange. These are the two ornaments Ken and I brought for the exchange
and these are the two we came home with.
While we were there it started snowing and it is still snowing with just a dusting so far. Temperature as gone down to 22 degrees too. ☃ ☃
Before coming home we stopped at Walmart. A lot of the others had the same idea because we met a good many of them there. : ) Thought there would be a lot of people shopping with Christmas just a week away but it was just like a normal day.
It's just about suppertime. I'm going to eat my leftovers from lunch.
Hope your day has been a happy one.

Love all lovely, Love Divine;
Love was born at Christmas;

My friend Trish has been diagnosed with internal shingles and is very
sick.
The internal kind is serious and she is in a lot of pain.
I ask
you to please say a prayer for her.
She is a dear friend and one of the
ones who bowls with us and plays Mexican Train.
Thank you.

Saying prayers for Trish.
So sorry for Trish. She is in my prayers. The painting is lovely. I wouldn't mind living there myself. I'd probably spend all the time out on the porch! Have a great weekend.
I've heard shingles were bad but I never knew there as an internal version. I hope she gets better.
Will pray for you sweet friend, Trish. My younger sister got internal shingles that went up her brain stem, causing strokes. We thought we were going to lose her. This was about three years ago. She is much better now, but internal shingles can be very serious indeed. Your Christmas lunch sounds lovely. Have a great weekend.
The picture of that cottage is gorgeous.Yes,I would live in a place like that,no doubt.
Hello, the painting is pretty. Your lunch sounds delicious and the restaurant looks like a wonderful place. We had a dusting of snow overnight. Sending my prayer for your friend Trish. I hope she feels better soon. Have a happy weekend!
So sorry for Trish. Shingles are terrible!
We see a few stray cats out when we are walking. Most are sitting in windows nice and warm inside.
Still no snow here.
The cottage picture is lovely. What an idyllic place!
Take care and have a great weekend.
Have you read The Mitford series by Jan Karon. I think you'd like it
The Christmas party sounds like it was lots of fun! All the ornaments are darling.
I will be praying for Trish. I hope they're able to do something to relieve her from these terrible internal shingles.

Sweet ornaments, good idea for a swap. It's very mild here for the time of year, I've even turned the heating off. Good wishes for your friend xx
I love the house in the picture! I could move right in there! Your blog is always so pretty. Those ornaments you bought to take are really special.
I am sorry to hear about your friend, Trish. I have heard that shingles are very painful. I didn't realize that they could occur internally. Will remember her in prayer.
The restaurant you went to with your seniors group is so quaint and cozy looking. Sounds like another fun outing.
Oh I have never heard of that...sounds awful. Yes, I will pray for Trish and I am glad to know that she is doing a little better (by having read your recent posts).
That is a sweet little cottage in the picture. I like the stone walkway, too. I'd live there in a heartbeat!
