Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Day Three of Thanks

Giving Thanks Post Day 3
Kenny

I am thankful that Ken is my husband and also my best friend.
He is a kind, caring, and loving husband and
it is a joy to be his wife and to spend my days with him.
We have been together over 43 years and though there have been some hard times,
there have been many many more good times. : )
Going through the hard times has strengthened our marriage.

I am thankful that Ken is such a handy man to have around too. : )
He can fix almost anything!
He amazes me with the things he can and does do.

Ken is always willing to help out others too whenever he can.
If something needs to be done you can count on him.
I thank God every day for Kenny
and believe by putting God first in our lives
He has blessed us beyond measure.

This thankful day post I chose Kenny
because it is his birthday.
Happy Birthday Kenny.
I love you. : )

What a lovely post. And Happy Birthday to Ken. I do like your idea of giving thanks in your posts. I have a notebook (I have a thing about notebooks) and every night I write down 2 or 3 things from the day that I'm thankful for. That's to counteract my tendency to moan!

I wish I could fix anything in a house. My dad died when I was seven so I never learned skills like that from him
