Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Day Nine of Thanks and HT Cabin Update

Giving Thanks Post Day Nine
Colors

I am thanking God today for all the beautiful colors He used
in creating our world.
How drab things would be without color.
He has given us a beautiful blue sky
Puffy white clouds
Pink, red, yellow, orange sunrises and sunsets
Green, gold, yellow, red leaves
Rainbows of all colors
White snow
Flowers of every color
Fruits and vegetables of red, green, yellow, orange, purple
Birds and animals of many colors
You just have to look around and see all the beautiful colors.
God has created a beautiful world
for which I am truly thankful.

By the way my favorite color is RED
with BLUE a very close second.
What's yours?

We've been up at HT and I thought you'd like to see the latest pictures of the work that has gotten done.  We have made our goal of having the cabin closed in before the snow comes.
The entrance way door
The little bump out in the front now has a roof
This is what we decided to put on the outside of the building.
We are using old pallets.
Taking them apart, painting them with watered down blue plant,
and cutting them into shingles which get nailed up.
And here's a little fun thing that Ken made.
A bird house to match the cabin.  : )
A happy day to you.

Bet you know my favorite color, but I'll tell you that it is yellow! Wow those shakes are going to be labor intensive, but frugal! They look very nice and I also like the birdhouse!

Hello, my favorite color is blue! Wow, the cabin is really coming along nicely. I like your door, it will let the light inside. Thanks for sharing! Happy Monday, enjoy your new week ahead!

I'm colorblind so my favorite color is gray

just a joke, I can see every color. I actually work in the paint industry, so being colorblind would make that rather hard.

Love the birdhouse! And teh cabin too. My favorite color used to be red but now it is pastels mostly - pinks and lavenders and blue. I love the vivid colors that God has created!

I am also thankful that we have color vision to see all those wonderful colors with. My favorite is green, although I like all of them - blue, purple, red, orange, yellow, etc. The cabin is looking great! Using pallets is a great recycling idea!
