It was 35 degrees and dark at 7:00 this morning. I watched a beautiful sunrise. It was one of those mornings when the sky was peppered with those white little clouds that look like cotton balls and the whole sky was a bright pink and blue.
I walked around town and the two cemeteries and the ball park loop. No one else was up and about this early Saturday morning.
The town pond was as smooth as glass, the birds were all once again sitting on the cattails and I could see the reflection of the white church steeple on the water.
Walked 5.5 miles.
I thought I was going to have a very low coin month this September because as of this morning I had only found 4 pennies, but this evening I found a few more coins in a parking lot- a dime, a nickel, and a penny. Then in another parking lot I found 2 one dollar bills. I don't save the paper money in my banks so I don't count that. So this months coins add up to 20 cents. Still not a very good month but better than 4. : )

Last evening was a good one for the Fingerprint ministry. A great turn out of people working and we put together 5,000 books of Romans. This time they were in Spanish and they will be going to Guatemala. Ken and I worked on the staple machines along with 6 other people. We worked from 5:00 - 9:00. Even the kids were hard at work bringing the books over to the staplers as other people put the books together. This morning right after breakfast we went to church again to continue the work from last night. Not as many people as last night but still a good group. Ken was again on the stapler machine but I mostly folded covers this time with three others. We had a good time talking while working. Work today was from 9:00 to 12:00 but Ken and I were just there from 10:00 - 12:00. Another 3,000 copies were put together for a grand total of 8,000. : )
Not a big fan of Halloween so we decided to go to Morgantown this evening for dinner at Outback. The last two years we had over 200 kids come to the door.
My camera couldn't be fixed so after dinner while we were in Morgantown we went to Best Buy and Walmart to check out the cameras and I ended up getting one at Walmart where it was cheapest. I got just another point and shoot one, a Samsun WB50F. It is a tad smaller than my other one and will be easy to slip into my pocket or pocketbook.
It is getting charged now as I type this.
So that's been my day.
I'm off to enjoy my ice cream now. : )
Hope your day was a happy one.
happyone : )

Comment Replies:Adam - Buckwheat cakes are a bit like pancakes, but they are made with buckwheat flour, yeast and brown sugar. I ate them with syrup but others poured bacon gravy over them.
Nellie - My old camera ran on two double A rechargeable batteries and I had to change them about once a week. My new camera has a little square battery which stays in the camera and is charged by plugging into an outlet. I like how the new one works better. : )
Kim - Thank you for those kind words. How nice you are. : )
