Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

God is Good

O give thanks unto the Lord:
for He is good;
for His mercy endureth for ever.
I Chronicles 16:34

For thou, Lord art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Psalm 25:8

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and He knoweth them that trust in him.
Nahum 1:7

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
and into His courts with praise:
be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good:
His mercy is everlasting:
and His truth endureth to all generations.
Psalm 100:4 & 5

A blessed Sunday to you my friends.
God is Good and loves you.

Today is Pastor Leatherman's 22nd anniversary as Pastor of our church.
We feel blessed to be part of this church and so thankful that
God led us to this church 2 years ago when we moved here.
Him and his wife Kathy are such a blessing to us.
Thank you Pastor and Kathy
and congratulations.  : )
God Bless You.

I am interested in your walking..... how long does it take you most days, when you walk between 5 and 6 miles? And do you ever get blisters on your feet? You are an inspiration to me, and have motivated me to start walking again. I have done it in the past but never farther than a mile or a mile and a half at a time. I do wonder about the blisters.....
Thanks for the info!
